The State of the Union and the Bogus, Endless, Horrifically Costly War on Terror

Good points here:
JEREMY SCAHILL: I mean, you know, what Obama was doing there—in his last major address that he gave, he—at the United Nations General Assembly, he laid out this sort of forceful defense of American empire, and even went so far as to say that the U.S. will use its military might to continue to secure energy resources. In this speech, it was a pretty forceful defense of a neoliberal economic agenda. And, you know, what Bob is saying about corporations resonates on a foreign policy level, as well.
What is widely being considered to be the most moving part of last night was when this U.S. Army Ranger was addressed in the crowd and who was severely wounded and had done 10 tours. Think about that for a moment—10 tours in these war zones. You know, this young American spent his entire adult life in these combat zones. And, you know, the issue of how veterans are treated in this country is one thing, but at the end of the day, did he benefit from these wars? Does the average American benefit from the continuation of these wars? No. Who benefits? That’s the most important question we all have to ask. It’s corporations.
(snip) War corporations, the Halliburtons of the world, the Boeings. John Kerry, yesterday it was announced, is giving these awards for corporate excellence around the world. He’s giving them to Citibank, to Apache, to Boeing, to Coca-Cola. And so you have this neoliberal economic agenda, which is sort of the hidden hand, in many ways, of the U.S. empire, and then you have this iron fist of U.S. militarism that is being sold to the American public, and increasingly to the world, as national security policy.
And so, you know, when I see that Army Ranger who’s wounded like that, the first thing that just occurs to me is: Who has benefited from all of this? When corporations control our political process in this country through a legalized form of corruption that’s called campaign finance, what does that say about the state of our democracy? In a way, there already has been a coup in this country, but it’s been a silent coup. And it reminds me of that famous line from the great movie The Usual Suspects. At the end of it, Kevin Spacey’s character says the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist. In many ways, a coup has happened, and the brilliance of it is that it’s not sparking major uprisings because we’ve been pacified and taught to just accept this as how things work. We have two parties in this country, the minimum wage is going to be the minimum wage, and corporations are in control, and these wars are fought in our name, but without our consent.
BOB HERBERT: And the flipside of who benefits is the suffering that is so tremendous out there among the warriors who have been sent over to fight these wars since late 2001. And so, you just have hundreds of thousands of people who have—men and women, who have come back from the combat zones, who have terrible, disabling injuries, who are going to have to be cared for—we have an obligation to care for them—in many cases, for the rest of their lives. We have to pay, as a society, to care for these folks. You know, it’s probably—Joe Stiglitz has estimated that now these wars are probably going cost cumulatively $4 trillion or more. None of this has been really explored clearly or properly explained to the American public.
JEREMY SCAHILL: You know, just a small sort of side point on this, you know, when we talk about the U.S. withdrawing from Iraq and Afghanistan, the conventional military, a story that very seldom gets attention is the connection between a paramilitarization of law enforcement inside of the United States and increasing use of what they call counterterrorism tactics on SWAT-style operations in the U.S. The military is donating a lot of its equipment to local police agencies and other so-called law enforcement agencies, and the communities that are most at risk here are communities of color and poor communities. Everything is about war—the war on drugs, the war on crime. (snip)
And war requires some kind of a militarized response. And that’s what we’re seeing. This is deeply connected to the wars abroad, the wars at home, as well.
BOB HERBERT: And this is actually going into our public schools, where you have that type of militarized behavior going on actually in public schools. That’s how you get the school-to-prison pipeline that people are talking about.
AMY GOODMAN: On Afghanistan, President Obama said, "If the Afghan government signs a security agreement that we have negotiated, a small force of Americans could remain in Afghanistan with NATO allies." But the latest news says the Pentagon has proposed up to 10,000 troops remaining behind, Jeremy.
JEREMY SCAHILL: Yeah, and if you look at what sort of various senior anonymous military officials have been saying for several years now, they’ve known that the withdrawal is not really going to be a withdrawal. Yes, we’re going to see the Marines pull out. We’re going to have this thing where journalists can ride on the tanks, like they did out of Iraq. But at the end of the day, this is an Afghanization of a U.S. policy. So, what’s going to happen is that you’re going to have these advise-and-assist squads of highly trained U.S. special ops and CIA personnel accompanying Afghan units, and they’re going to try to have the Afghans do the fighting and dying and killing on behalf of U.S. policy. But what I think should be of greater concern to the American public is that you are going to have these strike forces in place. It’s taken as conventional wisdom now that the U.S. is out of Iraq. Actually, the U.S. has a massive paramilitary presence inside of Iraq and is going to continue to have one inside of Afghanistan. So, these wars are going to continue on for at least another generation, albeit on a sort of covert, hidden-hand manner of doing it.
NERMEEN SHAIKH: But what’s the justification, Jeremy, for keeping troops in Afghanistan?
JEREMY SCAHILL: I mean, there is no counterterrorism mission in Afghanistan anymore. I mean, no one wants to talk about this, because you’re going to be accused of being sympathetic to the Taliban. The Taliban is not a terrorist organization with global aspirations. The Taliban has a constituency, has a greater constituency than the U.S., arguably than Hamid Karzai, who the U.S. recognizes as the president. And I think the Taliban is a morally reprehensible group of individuals, but they do have indigenous support. And the reason that they’re fighting right now is because the U.S. and NATO are in their country. And so, to sort of imply that what we’re doing there is countering terrorists, when in the first months of the Obama administration his own national security adviser said there are less than a hundred al-Qaeda operatives in Afghanistan, we should be asking that question that John Kerry asked in 1971: Who wants to be the last to die for this failed war? What do they tell the families of the soldiers who die from here until they pull out the conventional military?

Syria WMD Lies

Pretty clearly laid out here.

The question is, who put out the original lies?

I'm betting Israel had something to do with it, probably their new butt-buddies, the Saudis, too.  And the US lapped it up.

Thankfully, there was some sense in the US government that getting involved in Syria was a bad idea, and that the people were overwhelmingly against it.

Fascism Watch: Americans Killed by Cops in Last 10 years Outnumber Americans Killed in Iraq War

The increase in police brutality in this country is a frightening reality. In the last decade alone the number of people murdered by police has reached 5,000. The number of soldiers killed since the inception of the Iraq war, 4489.
What went wrong? In the 19070’s SWAT teams were estimated to be used just a few hundred times per year, now we are looking at over 40,000 military style “knock and announce” police raids a year.
The police presence in this country is being turned into a military with a clearly defined enemy, anyone who questions the establishment. If we look at the most recent numbers of non-military US citizens killed by terrorism worldwide, that number is 17. You have a better chance of being killed by a bee sting, or a home repair accident than you do a terrorist. And you are 29 times more likely to be murdered by a cop than a terrorist!
A hard hitting mini film by film maker Charles Shaw, properly titled RELEASE US, highlights the riveting and horrid reality of America’s thin blue line. From the film: 500 innocent Americans are murdered by police every year (USDOJ). 5,000 since 9/11, equal to the number of US soldiers lost in Iraq.

It's not only Fuck the Army, it's Fuck the Police.

And really, these cops are worse than the military, as they are going after-- terrorizing-- mostly peaceful US citizens-- their own people. There's no fucking excuse.

I Wonder If Being President of the USA Is Like Being a Conspiracy Researcher?

Even if you are smart and your instincts are in the right place, you are surrounded by vast amounts of strange information that are difficult to reconcile and piece together. You must rely on advice from high-level people who seem to know more than you, but they also have their own agenda. They tell you things that sound good but ultimately that may not be true or good advice. It's hard to know the "truth" when people put out such different viewpoints with such certainty. You end up doing and saying things you don't fully believe or are not fully sure about.

Certainly, I know that here, I have been swept up by some of the arguments that people who have befriended me online, have given me. In particular, first Judy Wood and then Anonymous Physicist, influenced my blogging here, quite a bit. Even though I resisted some of their advice and opinions, it was hard not to fall under their sway to a certain extent and be influenced not to talk about certain things because they were against those ideas.

In any case, I just have to wonder about being the president, and what kind of endless bullshit they have to put up with. It must be hard not to get caught up in that bullshit, even if your instincts are against it. And the pressure of being president is several thousands times worse, I'm sure, than the pressure I might feel here.

I'm not trying to make excuses for Obama or any other president-- they have to live with their crimes-- but I am trying to understand how a reasonably decent and intelligent person could act like an American president....

Amazing UFO/ET Sightings in South America, 1954

Case I:
DECEMBER 9, 1954, LINHA BELA VISTA, RIO GRANDE DO SUL, BRAZIL, ALMIRO DA COSTA E ROSA: BRIEF SUMMARY OF EVENT AND FOLLOW-UP:
On the evening of December 9, 1954, farmer Olmiro da Costa e Rosa was feeding his animals by throwing plants of French bean and maize in a field of his property of in Herval Mirim, a location near Linha Bela Vista, 2.5 miles from Venancio Aires, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He then heard something making a sound he described as "similar to the sound of a sewing machine", and noticed that the cows in the field were starting to run away. He thus looked up and saw a man of strange appearance and an unusual object hovering beyond, just some feet above the ground. The object was a bright craft, in the shape of a basin or explorer's hat, it was cream-colored and surrounded by a smoky haze. He saw two more strange men: one was in the craft with his head and shoulders sticking out an opening, the other was outside, apparently examining a barbed-wire fence.
Da Costa e Rosa had time to observe the men and they were at fairly close range: they were of average height, broad-shouldered, with long blond hair which blew in the wind. Their skin was extremely pale, "cadaver" pale, their slanted eyes were not normal men eyes. They wore light brown coverall-like garments fastened to their shoes, and the shoes seemed very strange to him because they had no heels. In the surprize, Costa e Rosa dropped his hoe, and the stranger nearest to him came at him, raised a hand, smiled, picked up the hoe, examined it carefully, then placed the hoe in Costa e Rosa's hands.
Costa e Rosa was holding a plant of beans ans a plant of maize, and the man took those and started toward the craft. Costa e Rosa had stood as if paralyzed, but then he thought that they did not seem to mean harm to him, so he walked toward the craft. The man who had taken the hoe and the one in the craft made no move to stop him, but the one at the fence made a gesture which seemed to mean that he should stop; which he did. Some of the farmer's animals had approached, and the strangers looked at them with great interest. With words and gestures, the witness tried to tell the visitors that he would be happy to make a gift of one of the sheep, but the visitors did not seem interested and did not seem to understand him when he spoke.
Unexpectedly, the visitors went in the craft, and it rose about 30 feet, accelerated suddenly, and flew away into the western sky at high speed. Costa e Rosa then checked the ground over which the objects had hovered, but he found nothing. He noticed a smell of burning coal remained in the air for some time after the craft's departure. His story then appeared in the local Press, and in national magazine O Cruzeiro in an article written by famous reporter and ufologist Joao Martins. Costa e Rosa was apparently questioned for several hours by Porto Alegre authorities, and it was determined that he was almost illiterate and did not read science fiction or the newspapers, that he had never heard of flying saucers. Actually he did not seem to interpret the encounter as extraterrestrial, but thought the men must have been some aviators from a foreign country.
In 2004, a local newspaper who had reported the case back then interviewed the witness's son who was 21 back then, and he confirmed what his father told and gave his opinion that his father had not lied. He added that his father had shouted and was heard by neighbors during the encounters, and that he had nightmares following the encounter. Several other UFO sighting had taken place then in the area, including close encounters of the third kind, the nearest being on the same day only a few kilometers away.

Case II:
11 December 1954 17:00
Linha Bela Vista, Brazil

Two human beings dressed in "yellow bags" entered a craft that "had a bottom like an enormous polished brass kettle," and flew away.
At 5:00 p.m. farmer Pedro Morais of Linha Bela Vista, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil first noticed a disturbance among his chickens in the farmyard. He then saw a UFO shaped like an 'enormous polished brass kettle' with a rectangular structure on top, making a sound like a sewing machine, hovering in the air with an oscillating motion. Two small humanoids 'enveloped in a kind of yellow sack from head to toe' were standing in a nearby field. As he approached, one ran toward him, the other raised its arm. The first one knelt down and plucked a tobacco plant from the field, then both jumped into the craft, which vanished within a few seconds.

Near the site of Case 349, Pedro Morais saw two human beings dressed in "yellow bags" take a tobacco plant and a chicken, then go away. Their craft "had a bottom like an enormous polished brass kettle," hovered with an oscillating motion, and made a noise like a sewing machine. Its upper part resembled a jeep hood.

Close encounter with a an unidentified craft and monstrous occupants. One yellow domed disc was observed by one experienced male witness on a farm for a few seconds (Morais, P). A sewing machine-like sound was heard. Two 3-foot-tall dwarves, each wearing a yellow bag, were seen.
Farmer Pedro Morais, noticing alarm among the chickens, perceived an object hovering with an oscillating motion; its bottom resembled "an enormous polished brass kettle," its upper part was "like a jeep." In a nearby field he then saw 2 small human figures "enveloped in a kind of yellow sack from head to toe." As he approached, one ran toward him, the other raised his arm. One knelt down and plucked a tobacco plant, then both jumped into the craft, which vanished within a few seconds.

Case III:
December 16th, 1954 – Taking a rest stop while driving along the Pan-American highway near San Carlos del Zulia, Venezuela, Jesus Paz left his two friends in their car and walked off a short distance to relieve himself. They heard him screaming and then saw him fall unconscious. A small hairy dwarf ran off from the spot to a flat, shiny hovering UFO. The machine shot off with a loud whistle. Jesus Paz had deep scratches on his body from the creature.

All three of these incidents are described in a book by Coral E. Lorenzen written in 1966, Flying Saucers: The Startling Evidence of the Invasion from Outer Space.

All incidents are well documented and substantiated, and there are many more just like these in every year from the early 50's to the mid-60s...

New Holocaust Book Is Just Pages of the Word "Jew", Six Million Times

Oh for god's sake...
To be fair, not every Jew seems thrilled with the approach, but still-- "Mr. Shalev declined to address the new book directly, but said dismissively, “Every year we have 6,000 books published about the Shoah,” using the Hebrew term for the Holocaust."

The holocaust has moved beyond simple propaganda, and into the realm of religion, where no logic can penetrate.

Whether Or Not Edward Snowden Really Had NSA Documents About ETs and the US

I think the story here is more true than fake, no matter how much the US media mocks it or ignores it... of course, all this is a limited hangout, since the media never speaks of the planetary quarantine and of the evil ETs who control us.

The Great Evil of the Atomic Bomb in WWII and the American PTB

This is a great interview with Gar Alperovitz. I didn't realize how he actually published a book back in the early 60's, showing that the nuking of the Japanese in WWII was completely unnecessary. I also didn't realize was how long this fact had been around, but was suppressed by the evil right-wing elites and the horrible evil mass media. Who is aware that the US military was against this bombing, and that Truman and his SoS Byrnes pushed it? Whether it was all about making a show to Russia is not clear, there are of course deeper reasons for why the PTB wanted to deploy the first atomic weapon. It's still amazing to me that when I was arguing a few years ago, that the dropping of the atomic bomb was unnecessary but an act of evil, on this blog, some people were arguing that it wasn't true. As it turned out, I think the early stuff on the internet about the unnecessary slaughter of Japanese civilians by the US dropping atomic weapons on them, was from the "Barnes review", a site that also hosts "Holocaust revisionism" pieces. At the time, I stayed away from the Holocaust issue, but since then have become more educated, so to speak.

In any case, this interview shows the great evil of the "American" PTB.  I suspect that Truman and Byrnes, both fairly unsophisticated and uneducated men, were mere puppets in the great game of the evil PTB. The evil intent was clearly shown by the MASSIVE conventional bombing of Japan, on the day after dropping the atomic bombs.

It's funny

Video Fakery Watch

David W. Mantik in "The Great Zapruder Film Hoax":
Almost from the day that the film projector was introduced for public use, the faking of film became a common practice. Raymond Fielding (1) reports: "Apparently there was not a single major producer in the period 1894-1900 that did not fake newsfilm as a matter of common practice". Paul Smith (2) adds that these early fakes consisted of re-creations of news events (using either actors or sometimes even original characters) or fabrication of events such as soldiers pretending to be in battle. These were then sold to the public as actual scenes of the Boer war. The first public discussion of the issue of faking apparently occurred in August 1900 under the title "Sham War Cinemotograph Films" (2).

Mantik also points to the faking of Hitler's victory jig in France, which is a great anecdote with obvious implications regarding WWII propaganda.

In any case, in this context, it seems quite obvious that the 9/11 airplane videos were a very effective use of such fakery.

The Most Evil Sentence Ever Written by the PTB?

60 Words And A War Without End: The Untold Story Of The Most Dangerous Sentence In U.S. History: Written in the frenzied, emotional days after 9/11, the Authorization for the Use of Military Force was intended to give President Bush the ability to retaliate against whoever orchestrated the attacks. But more than 12 years later, this sentence remains the primary legal justification for nearly every covert operation around the world. Here’s how it came to be, and what it’s since come to mean.

 Here are the 60 words:
That the President is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such organizations or persons in order to prevent any future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such nations, organizations or persons.

It's really that second clause that is the killer -- "in order to prevent any future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such nations, organizations or persons."
“It is like a Christmas tree,” John Bellinger III told me recently. “All sorts of things have been hung off of those 60 words.”

And certainly 9/11 and the AUMF was Christmas for the military-industrial-intelligence complex...

The whole story of the "war on terror" and how the Obama administration won't update the AUMF, as described in the piece, is beyond sick, it's just evil, and gets to the heart of the problem with the mentality of the national security state and the military-industrial-intelligence complex.

Related evil--

Lies, Stupidity, Waste and War Crimes: Iraq and the Ongoing Calamity of America's "Vital Interests"

This is so true:
The Washington Post knows as well as you or I that American "vital interests," as defined in the Bush (and more queasily in the Obama) era, float in a context of lies, stupidity, waste and war crimes. Yet its editorial page so reflects the Beltway addiction to war that it pushes for more of it no matter how counterproductive the last one turned out for any rational assessment of U.S. vital interests.

Thank goodness I haven't heard much from the media recently about how horrible it is that "al Qaeda" has taken over Fallujah and there is no new push for war there... although of course I wonder if they stopped talking about Fallujah because they were worried people might start remembering the horrors we did there, the radioactive, mutation-inducing hell it has become for its people.
Our invasion wreaked havoc on the physical and social infrastructure of the country. And the weapons we used, including depleted uranium munitions and white phosphorous, shattered its health. In 2010, for instance, The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health published an epidemiological study, "Cancer, Infant Mortality and Birth Sex-Ratio in Fallujah, Iraq 2005-2009," which found that Fallujah — the city we "cleared of terrorists" with two bloody assaults in 2004 — is experiencing higher rates of cancer, leukemia and infant mortality than Hiroshima and Nagasaki did in 1945.
The country as a whole, according to Jamail, has seen an enormous jump in cancer rates since the U.S. began dismantling it. In 1991, before the first Gulf War, there were 40 registered cases of cancer per 100,000 Iraqis, he noted. By 2005, "we saw 1,600 Iraqis with cancer out of 100,000."
And Fallujah, in particular, has been devastated by an increase in birth defects since 2004 — 14 times higher than the rate measured in Hiroshima and Nagasaki after they were bombed, according to Jamail.
It's common in Fallujah, he said, citing Iraqi Dr. Samira Alani, "for newborns to come out with massive multiple systemic defects, immune problems, massive central nervous system problems, massive heart problems, skeletal disorders, babies being born with two heads, babies being born with half of their internal organs outside of their bodies, cyclops babies literally with one eye — really, really, really horrific nightmarish types of birth defects. And it is ongoing."

And yet, it is Hitler that is described as history's greatest monster....

"Adam Lanza Radio Call"

This is pretty amazing--
The New York Daily News obtained audio from the call into "Anarchy Radio" that took place in December 2011. In the call, Lanza discussed "Travis," the domesticated chimpanzee who mauled a Connecticut woman in 2009, leaving her severely disfigured.
“His attack can be seen entirely parallel to the attacks and random acts of violence that you bring up on your show every week, committed by humans, which the mainstream also has no explanation,” Lanza said in the call.
“I just ... don’t think it would be such a stretch to say that he very well could have been a teenage mall shooter or something like that," he added.
A former high school classmate of Lanza's told the Daily News that he recognized the shooter's voice in the call. John Zerzan, who hosts the program in Eugene, Oregon, recalled the conversation.
"We remember the call,” Zerzan told the Daily News. “The only thing that seemed odd was his voice seemed kind of robotic ... but what he was saying made sense.”

The parallels between what Greg is saying here and what Lanza supposedly did are astounding. This call doesn't seem faked; this was a really disturbed but intelligent kid.

I'm not saying this proves the official story of Newtown by any means, but assuming this really is Lanza talking, it is a very interesting part of the puzzle.

I Find It Disturbing that Doctors Are Telling People Not to Take Vitamins

I've been seeing a lot of this crap lately.

To be fair, some vitamins and minerals can be harmful if taken in too high of doses, and so you have to be careful about megadoses. And also, it's best if vitamins can be taken through natural food sources that are high in vitamins.

But vitamin C is extremely non-toxic and has great healing powers. I am mostly upset that these "doctors" are dissuading people from taking mega-C, using the same old stupid rational that they've used for years, and ignoring many studies showing a benficial effect.

It's almost as if these doctors have an ulterior motive... and I'm sure there is some evil, big pharma influence here too.

The ET Coverup Continues

Few things piss me off than seeing apparently smart scientists ignore the overwhelming evidence of ET visitation from UFOs and act like we just don't know if there is alien life out there, ooohhh, it's just such a mystery. I couldn't even watch this video because the first minute turned me off so much. Not to mention that Stephen Hawking ignores or is ignorant of the panspermia theory for origin of life on earth, which is actually quite plausible.

It's just so depressing/shocking/frustrating to see major scientists act so ignorant or participate in the cover-up. But it's the same old story, since so many scientists ignore the overwhelming evidence in many "conspiracy theories" such as the WTC being nuked, etc.

This wikientry describes the movies premise:

43 Year Old Conspiracy Memes in Bond Movie "Diamonds Are Forever" (1971)

I knew about the moon hoax scene before:

But I didn't realize there were other conspiracy elements in the movie until I watched it recently:

1) voice morphing technology (proposed to be used to mimic passengers on planes phone calls on 9/11)

2) body doubles to thwart assassination (proposed many times in recent years, from Saddam Hussein to bin Laden to Hitler)

3) space satellite with a powerful laser that can destroy targets on earth with pinpoint accuracy (Judy Wood's beam weapons)

4) German space scientists (a real conspiracy-- Operation Paperclip)

Otherwise, the movie was pretty cheesy, and not the best acting...

Greenwald/Snowden Bashing

So, Sibel Edmonds, James Corbett and Kevin Ryan-- all major limited hangout artists, have recently started going after Glenn Greenwald. The NSA/Paypal link to Greenwald, of course, is kind of disturbing, and there has long been reason to doubt how honest Greenwald is. The Snowden incident is also very fishy, as we all know.  But, it's kind of funny that even people like Edmonds and Ryan are going after Greenwald.

Possibilities:

1) Greenwald and Snowden are so obviously a psyop that even limited hangout artists can see it, so we can trust Edmonds and Corbett and Ryan on this.

2) That limited hangout artists are going after Greenwald and Snowden makes some deep conspiracy people think that this is a psyop to distrust Greenwald and Snowden, making the deep conspiracy people more likely to believe Greenwald and Snowden are legit.

3) Greenwald and Snowden and Edmonds and Corbett and Ryan are all corrupt limited hangout intel agents and can't be trusted about anything.

4) Edmonds and Corbett and Ryan are nicely deflecting attention away from what the NSA is doing onto Greenwald and Snowden, which is what the government would like.

5) Best to pick and choose what info to believe and not trust one particular person over another.

The Chris Dorner Psy-Op

Now, this is a good piece and goes over the amazingly fishy evidence on the Dorner case. The idea seems to be that it was a fake story set-up to cover up a bunch of random shootings by the LAPD-- a police dept out of control.

Sandy Hook Police Reports

Hmm, a lot of paperwork for something faked. But, bureaucracy, you know...

I looked through some of it, seemed like real paperwork. Wasn't able to watch the videos and the photos I could find were boring.

This guy says the material supports a fake event. I'm still unconvinced about the shooting being total fakery, though I am sure there was some conspiracy setup to this whole incident, as I've mentioned before. I just haven't seen the smoking gun, as it were, for fake victims. I found some of the victims' parents Facebook pages, and they looked real, to me, FWIW. As I've mentioned before, I am friends with someone who is friends of a Sandy Hook victim parent. I know that's not very convincing for anyone who strongly believes in fakery, and it may even make me look like a shill. But it's the truth.
