33 of the Day

WaPo:
A security contractor with a gun and three prior convictions for assault and battery was allowed on an elevator with President Obama during a Sept. 16 trip to Atlanta, violating Secret Service protocols, according to three people familiar with the incident.

Three and three. This is the new theme for presenting 33.

Also, other stories coming out now about the poor Secret Service protection for Obama. Hard to know what it means exactly.

This story has some interesting 3's:

President Obama has faced three times as many threats as his predecessors, according to people briefed on the Secret Service’s threat assessment.

and

Ortega had left his Idaho home about three weeks earlier, during a time his friends said he had been acting increasingly paranoid. He kept launching into tirades about the U.S. government trying to control its citizens, saying President Obama “had to be stopped.”

and

Three women walking nearby heard the crash, and one called 911 on a cellphone.

Possibilities:
1)  the SS is simply incompetent and Obama has been lucky not to have lost his life
2) the SS has been messing up his security as a means to threaten Obama and extort him to do the wishes of the PTB
3) the SS/PTB is releasing these stories just now and trying to threaten Obama for future actions in his next two years.
4) this is a psy-op for some unclear reason, possibly to make people sympathetic to Obama.

My main guess is #2.

Ebola Hits the US

Holy fuck.

UPDATE:
Interesting and good segment from Maddow on missteps in Texas.

She says right before the guy first went to the hospital, they had had an Ebola containment drill. Hmm...

Question of the Day

Is everything really more fucked up with US foreign policy than the last several decades, or does it just seem that way because we have access to so much more information (and disinformation) than before?

Terrorism and the New World Order

A good history of Iraq and our evil powers that be.

9/11 truth is important, but peace activism is just as important.

Either way, the military madness of the US must be stopped.

"For a Worker With Little Time Between 3 Jobs, a Nap Has Fatal Consequences"

This NYTimes piece is seriously loaded with 3's and has two 33's as well. She was found dead at 3:30pm, for instance. The piece is fairly short but has the word "three" 6 times, and not only referring to her jobs.

I don't know what the significance is exactly, but the 3's did stick out to me.

More People Missed Their Flight on the 9/11 Planes Than Were on the Planes

Another impressive bit of research from Shoestring 911--
"Over 350 Passengers Canceled Their Reservations or Didn't Show Up for the Hijacked 9/11 Flights"

I posted this on Facebook as sort of a gentle bit of evidence of 9/11 fishiness, and got two assholes who poo-poohed it.  Oddly, one guy claimed there were publicly advertised warnings of terror attacks on domestic flights right before 9/11 (and I'm pretty damn sure there wasn't), and this is why people cancelled their reservations or didn't show. When I challenged him on this, he got cute and claimed I wasn't important to enough to know about these and that he had some inside knowledge. Weird.

The other guy said this level of cancellations was normal and pointed out the Shoestring article didn't talk about normal rates of cancellations/no-shows. While I doubt very much that it is typical that more people cancel/no-show for a flight than make the flight, I did some digging on this.

I found a paper published in the Journal of Air Transport Management, in 2004, titled "PREDICTING AIR TRAVELERS’ NO-SHOW AND STANDBY BEHAVIOR USING PASSENGER AND DIRECTIONAL ITINERARY INFORMATION". The "no show" rate for early 2001 was 6.3%.

The rate of cancellation is more complicated according to this paper, but it does seem to be well below 5% of tickets bought.

The overall % of of no-show's and cancellations for the 9/11 flights was well over 50%.

Wikipedia says:
81 tickected passengers on flight 11
56 tickected passengers on flight 175
58 tickected passengers on flight 77
37 tickected passengers on flight 93
total = 232

+ (at least) 350 no-shows and cancellations = 582

350/582 = 60%

Way higher than any normal model would predict.

How the CIA Covered-Up and Smeared Gary Webb

Eighteen years after it was published, “Dark Alliance,” the San Jose Mercury News’s bombshell investigation into links between the cocaine trade, Nicaragua’s Contra rebels, and African American neighborhoods in California, remains one of the most explosive and controversial exposés in American journalism.
The 20,000-word series enraged black communities, prompted Congressional hearings, and became one of the !rst major national security stories in history to blow up online. It also sparked an aggressive backlash from the nation’s most powerful media outlets, which devoted considerable resources to discredit author Gary Webb’s reporting. Their efforts succeeded, costing Webb his career. On December 10, 2004, the journalist was found dead in his apartment, having ended his eight-year downfall with two .38-caliber bullets to the head.
These days, Webb is being cast in a more sympathetic light. He’s portrayed heroically in a major motion picture set to premiere nationwide next month. And documents newly released by the CIA provide fresh context to the “Dark Alliance” saga — information that paints an ugly portrait of the mainstream media at the time. On September 18, the agency released a trove of documents spanning three decades of secret government operations.
Culled from the agency’s in-house journal, Studies in Intelligence, the materials include a previously unreleased six-page article titled “Managing a Nightmare: CIA Public Affairs and the Drug Conspiracy Story.” Looking back on the weeks immediately following the publication of “Dark Alliance,” the document offers a unique window into the CIA’s internal reaction to what it called “a genuine public relations crisis” while revealing just how little the agency ultimately had to do to swiftly extinguish the public outcry. Thanks in part to what author Nicholas Dujmovic, a CIA Directorate of Intelligence staffer at the time of publication, describes as “a ground base of already productive relations with journalists,” the CIA’s Public Affairs officers watched with relief as the largest newspapers in the country rescued the agency from disaster, and, in the process, destroyed the reputation of an aggressive, award-winning reporter.

33s of the Day

India's Mars probe has a 33 pound payload (which since they are on the metric system, is clearly a manufactured number and pounds doesn't convert to kilos on a 3.3 scale).

ISIS sells oil on the black market at $333 per barrel (which is far more than the open market price of $100 per barrel. So yeah, that makes sense).

33 Bangin’ Swimsuits For Girls With Big Boobs (the piece is not nearly as good as the title, and the girls they show aren't well-endowed at all. So more of click-bait, I guess).

Khorasan-- the Scary NEW Terror Group

Apparently they were the threat used to justify the bombing of Syria... they are super-bad.

The whole thing sounds super bogus...
The intelligence community discovered Khorasan plots against the United States within the past week, an intelligence source with knowledge of the matter told CNN. The intelligence source did not give an intended target but said the plots potentially involved a bomb made of a nonmetallic device like a toothpaste container or clothes dipped in explosive material.

But yay, bombing civilians in Syria for freedumb!

Russian Soldiers Killed In Secret Ukraine Battles?

I have the sense this piece is propaganda, but it's pretty hard to know for sure.

All I know is that it's hard to believe so many soldiers died in Ukraine without more evidence of huge battles and destroyed equipment.

UPDATE--
this article claims there are destroyed tanks in Ukraine that had to have come from Russia.

Fucking ridiculous, insane and a sickening waste of money.

Inexplicably, there is no "33" in the piece, though the phrase "three decades" is used a couple times, for no great reason....

Gaza-- the Real Death Camp

This description of Gaza after the destruction wrought by Israel, by Max Blumenthal*, is absolutely horrifying and depressing.

So sad-- Israel and the US have slaughtered and fucked them over, the world has abandoned them or is helpless to help them; the Gazans have almost no hope. 2 million people doomed to die in the world's largest concentration camp.

All war is horrible, but Israel has committed the most grotesque slaughter of civilians you can imagine.

Fucking evil Israeli fascists.

"The Man Who Shot Osama Bin Laden"

A pretty detailed account of the shooting, with a ton of superfluous crap thrown in. I just skipped through much of the non-shooting stuff, god knows how many lies are in there.

I do love the strong 3 motif in the account.

Repeated over and over:
Bin Laden shot 3 times in the head
Bin Laden was on the 3rd floor of the building

FWIW...

Three appears 15 times in the piece
Third appears 12 times in the piece
Thirty appears 6 times in the piece

Four appears 12 times in the piece
Fourth appears 0 times in the piece
Forty appears 1 times in the piece

Five appears 12 times in the piece
Fifth appears 2 times in the piece
Fifty appears 0 times in the piece

Six appears 8 times in the piece
Sixth appears 0 times in the piece
Sixty appears 1 times in the piece

Seven appears 3 times in the piece
Seventh appears 0 times in the piece
Seventy appears 0 times in the piece

The ISIS PsyOp

How many bizarre clues can we find in these few sentences?
ISIS released a haunting propaganda video showing a British captive promising to illuminate the “the truth” behind the militants’ network and criticizing his government and the U.S. approach to hostage negotiations.

The video — which runs for around three minutes — has not been verified by NBC News. ISIS extremists have released a long line of propaganda videos — including the grisly beheadings of three Western hostages. ISIS also has threatened the life of another British hostage, Alan Henning.

In a video released Thursday, a man who identifies himself as British is shown in an orange jumpsuit – the same style journalist James Foley and subsequent hostages wore in their beheading videos. The similarities end there, with the video — titled “Lend Me Your Ears” taking on the appearance of a news program. Speaking from behind a table in a darkened room, the man says he was taken captive in Syria in 2012 and promises that more “programs” are coming.

"Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, 'He's only doing this because he's a prisoner. He's got a gun at his head and he's being forced to do this.' Right?" he says calmly, speaking directly to the camera, hands clasped before him. "Well, it's true. I am a prisoner. That I cannot deny. But seeing as I've been abandoned by my government and my fate now lies in the hands of the Islamic State, I have nothing to lose."

1) Illuminate-- Illuminati = secret group
2) haunting-- they are scary, they behead people
3) "the truth"-- what is the truth? Is there "truth"?
4) 33-- "three minutes" and "three Western hostages"
5) powerful mixture of psychology here; the reverse psychology for people to reject what ISIS says through this Westerner, even though it's quite seemingly reasonable-- message designed to inflict cognitive dissonance.
6) disconcerting yet familiar setting-- a fake newsdesk.

Some of the video here. The hostage is John Cantlie.

Re-Evaluating No Planes at the WTC and WTC2 Hit Fakery

It was about 8 years ago when I started seriously looking into the idea of no-planes on 9/11 even at the WTC and video fakery. I resisted this idea early on, in part because so many "credible 9/11 researchers" rejected it.

But as I've wrote about here over the years (see links on side), there are some compelling reasons to buy the idea of no-planes even at the WTC. Some of the best reasons for WHY the PTB would not use real planes and instead use video fakery on 9/11 are:
1) don't have to worry about poorly trained hijacker pilots flying the planes into the proper targets; don't have to worry about precision targeting of planes by remote control either
2) not having real planes at the crash sites makes it easier to control the scene
3) by using fake videos of WTC2, the PTB can control the narrative better, and can create a better psy-op and cognitive dissonance effect

Some of the more compelling evidence for no planes at the WTC and video fakery are:
1) general dearth of plane debris at crash sites, no tail sections in particular
2) impossible to near impossible maneuvers and speeds of large Boeing jets to hit targets near ground level
3) inability of hijacker pilots to carry out said maneuvers
4) various video anomalies of the WTC2 videos and the sequence of the live shots
5) the fake-looking entry of UA175 into WTC2
6) the clear lack of a plane crash at the Shanksville site, and the question of why would they not use a plane there but use one at the WTC?

I listed all the reasons I could think of, for no-planes here.

Still-- the whole idea of no planes at the WTC seems wild and crazy to most people; a radical degree of conspiracy is required, and most people just don't want to accept it.

And to be honest, SOME of the research I did on video fakery at this site was a bit crude and flawed, mainly due to my naivete and lack of video expertise. So it's important to point out mistakes and that one can get misled. That being said, the no plane theory does not rest only on video analysis, and the logic of no-planes still holds.

Nonetheless it's good to look at the no-planes explanation with some more perspective, after the passage of time.

Probably the best place to start is some of the WTC2 hit imagery, since it is so striking.

These two video stills show the "plane" just about half way into the tower.

Now, immediately, that straight line of the wing cutting into the tower screams fakery, doesn't it? That wing should be exploding upon contact and debris should be flying outwards. How is that straight line of entry at all possible? Note, the strongest part of the wing is between the fuselage and the engines, not the tip. Note, the fuselage has also entered halfway without any significant explosion, even though the plane is supposed to be disintegrating as it goes in. And the biggest debris explosion in the whole scene is coming from the engines-- which are supposed to be the heaviest parts of the plane, that penetrate the tower most easily. So yeah, that makes sense.

But the straight line of the wing going in, is pretty FUCKING DAMNING.

So, we have two different videos showing an impossible event. Case closed for video fakery, and why have video fakery if there was a real plane?

This is also pretty fucking damning too:

10 Years of 9/11 Anniversaries Here

Here is the 9/11/2004 post.
I didn't put up a specific post for 2005.
Here is the 9/11/2006 post.
Here is the 9/11/2007 post.
Here is the 9/11/2008 post.
Here is the 9/11/2009 post (lots of pics).
Here is the 9/11/2010 post.
Here is the 9/11/2011 post (essay by A.P.).
Here is the 9/11/2012 post.
Here is the 9/11/2013 post.

9/11 is still an outrage, but viewed over the perspective of time, it was just part of a larger outrage of the evil things the PTB are capable of doing. 9/11 was bad, and inspired a lot of death, but wars are worse and they go on and on. Governments have a special talent for creating pretexts for war.

Is real justice possible for 9/11? I doubt it.

The best we might get is public mockery and widespread disbelief, kind of like with the JFK assassination. And government shills will will never die, it seems.

All we can do is be ambassadors for the truth, and repositories for real history, and pass it on. I always try to be optimistic about our future, and I feel as if in these seemingly fucked up days, we are inching towards greater honesty.

But for now, mockery.

Creating ISIS

More truth comes out about ISIS, that everyone in DC will forget as they gush over the president's plan to attack ISIS.
From the moment the US began sending lethal arms to Syrian rebel factions, there were a chorus of people expressing fears that those arms would end up in the “wrong hands,” and US officials insisted they were going to carefully vet everyone who got those weapons.

You know who got a lot of those weapons? ISIS. Just as everyone predicted would happen, once the arms were smuggled into Syria, they quickly ended up spread out among rebel factions, both pro-US and not, and a new report shows massive amounts of ISIS armament was actually stamped “Property of US Govt.”

Some of those small arms were surely looted from Iraqi bases during the offensive in Mosul, which is also where ISIS got most of its arsenal of US-made military vehicles. That’s not the whole story, however.

The ISIS weapons, cataloged after being captured by Kurdish forces, also included US-made anti-tank missiles that appear to have been part of a delivery provided to the Free Syrian Army (FSA), one of those carefully vetted rebel factions.
and...

Remember when Senator John McCain went to Syria and met with factions of rebels fighting the Assad regime?

As it turns out, the group that he was meeting with was a particular subset of rebels in Syria, who we now know as ISIS.

Iraq War Lies, Anthrax, Israel and 9/11

Some useful recent history from Ry Dawson, and he is generally right about the bigger picture, even if he doesn't go in for any of the deeper 9/11 issues.

Ultimately though, the media and political elites will never point out all the truth on any of these topics, or certainly not put the story together in any coherent way and emphasize the importance of this, that would really shake things up. Corruption still rules, and new crimes are committed everyday that divert our attention.

Nevermind...

So a few days ago I posted about my trip to NYC and the trip to the Statue of Liberty on the ferry. Supposedly this ferry was from where Carmen Taylor and Michael Hezarkhani had taken their infamous shots of the ghostplane on 9/11. I thought I had nailed them for a lie, because on the ferry I went on never had an angle remotely close to the angle they showed in their pics of southern Manhattan and the WTC.

However, doing more research, I found a pic showing there is another docking place for the ferry, a bit more southeast of where I was, that basically matches their angle. Ah, well. There are still many many reasons to be suspicious of the UA175 images from 9/11, and particularly the Carmen Taylor images, but the angle of the shot is not a conclusive reason.

Nonetheless, here are some of my shots of the new WTC and the 9/11 memorial. The new WTC1 is quite beautiful actually, and the memorial is very impressive and somber. What you don't expect at the memorial is the strong smell of the ocean-- I guess they used sea water in the fountain. My earlier thoughts on the fountains are here.

 The new WTC1 and 2.
The view from Battery Park (not the exact spot where I got on the ferry but close to another boarding spot)-- this is the basic Carmen Taylor/Michael Hezarkhani vantage point, with the new WTC1 close to where the old WTC1 was.

This sculpture used to be in the WTC plaza, and is now in Battery Park.

View from the ferry on route.

View from the Statue of Liberty island.

Coming back, on the ferry.

The WTC2 memorial pool, in the footprint of the old WTC2.

White Guys Joining ISIS

Gee, nothing suspicious about that. I'm sure they couldn't possibly be intel agents, though not sure why this guy got busted.

From the first link:
The article itself is about the fact that a very high proportion of the 'foreign fighters' in ISIS and in other rebel groups in Syria/Iraq are ethnic European converts. In other words, not first or second generation naturalized immigrants from the MENA region or Central or South Asia, but white Britons, Germans, French and Belgians who've not only converted to Islam but into its most extreme, totalizing variant. In some cases, men (yes, largely men) who have little more than a passing knowledge of the basics of Islamic ritual practice.
A few statistics from the article ...
The countries that apparently export the most Islamic State fighters are France (700 men, according to President Francois Hollande); the United Kingdom (at least 500, according to the Soufan Group, an international strategic consultancy firm); Germany (about 320, according to local news reports); and Belgium (approximately 350, according to The New York Times).
The gist of the article that while ethnic European converts to Islam make up only a tiny portion of the Muslim populations of these countries (not surprising) they make up a majority or even an overwhelming majority of the foreign fighters in Syria, especially with ISIS.
And then this ...

“There are people fighting with the Islamic State who don’t even know how to correctly recite the Shahada,” he says, referring to the Islamic declaration of faith. “They just want to fight the system, and to them jihadi groups have the same kind of appeal that radical left-wing terrorism used to have in the 1970s.”

10 Years After Starting This Blog, and Almost 13 Years After 9/11...

I finally got to visit New City and see lower Manhattan.

I visited the 9/11 memorial but didn't have a chance to go to the museum. The new WTC1 "Freedom" tower is actually quite beautiful. The weeping pools standing in the place of the the twin WTC towers are very impressive monuments.

The most important thing I found, about 10 years too late to make any difference, was by taking a trip to the Statue of Liberty and revisiting the Carmen Taylor/Michael Hezarkhani shot of the WTC. Surprise! Their view of the WTC was impossible from the ferry.

I will post more on this a little later, when I have time to compose everything.

The Amazing Ancient Underground City You (Probably) Never Heard of

The underground city at Derinkuyu is neither the largest nor oldest, but its 18 stories make it the deepest. The city was most likely used as a giant bunker to protect its inhabitants from either war or natural disaster.

Wiki on Derinkuyu. Supposedly 2700 years old.

How many more mysteries like this are hidden underground? There are of course, many accounts of "DUMBs"-- Deep Underground Military Bases, where extra-terrestrials are hidden or hiding, such as in Dulce, New Mexico.
