So...apparently Sphincter 911 wants drug traffickers, fugitives and other criminal suspects to have free run throughout society.

Nice. You want to put Bush in jail but you'd rather see drug traffickers, fugitives and other criminal suspects be unencumbered by technological law enforcement tracking capabilities.

You really are a ass hole, you know that?

wow is that what he wants?
funny, i didn't see where he said that at all.
hey how about that molten metal in the wtc basements that was still incredibly hot several months after 9/11 despite constant dousing with water?
what could have been the cause of that if not a "china syndrome"-like nuclear reaction?

I guess I should have said that the really lovely thing about living in a fascist is the marvelous low-crime rate!

"Law enforcement has absolutely no interest in tracking the locations of law-abiding citizens. None whatsoever," [Justice Department spokesman Dean] Boyd said. "What we're doing is going through the courts to lawfully obtain data that will help us locate criminal targets, sometimes in cases where lives are literally hanging in the balance, such as a child abduction or serial murderer on the loose."

I'm not so concerned about how law enforcement is using any new powers it may have been given after 9/11 to go after criminals. The criminal justice system continues on with judicial oversight over law enforcement, and it's still a lot of work to get a warrant.

What I'm concerned about is the use of government authority and power by criminals in the government. They don't worry about the Fourth Amendment because they don't use the information to convict people, but to oppress and profit.
