Mainstream Torture Opponents Fight with One Hand Tied Behind Their Back

-- by not admitting that 9/11 was an inside job.

Why? Because, torture proponents can always use the trump card that torture "prevented new attacks".

While there is still a strong moral case against torture, this case is diluted by the idea that torture had some beneficial effect.

Importantly, I think that the current torture condemnations are effectively a proxy for saying 9/11 was an inside job, just as torture prosecutions would be effectively a proxy for prosecuting some of the people who were behind and who covered up 9/11.

But again, by accepting the official 9/11 story, the torture case will always look weak compared to the argument that torture prevented new attacks.

Now, more than ever, we need 9/11 truth!!!!

Senate hearing on 21 April:

"Protecting National Security and Civil Liberties: Strategies for Terrorism Information Sharing"

Even more disgrace concerning the FBI, under the guise of protecting against terrorism, while in practice, extended to anybody. No reasonable suspicion needed.

Will this change under King O? Not likely.

Terrorism, terrorism, terrorism....

How much terrorism offsets a totally destroyed world economy. It will become a huge luxury to care.

In Iraq, no disrespect intended, 4000 plus fatalities. In the Stalingrad affair, this was the score for any day from Sept., 1942, to Jan, 1943. Times change.

Would you believe they still refer to senators as "the honorable"?
