Gay marriage was legalized by vote in Maryland and in Maine.

Also:

Elizabeth Warren won a Senate seat in MA.

Idiot tea-partiers Alan West and Joe Walsh were defeated.

Reactionary anti-women fanatics Richard Mourdock and Todd Akin were defeated.


One significant disappointment was that Prop 37-- the GMO labeling bill in CA was likely defeated.
