RIP Dick Cheney
Cheney was a horrible Vice President under George W Bush (the original Worst President Ever until Trump) and a notorious war criminal
-- ignored flashing warnings of a major terror attack prior to 9/11
-- was integrally involved in US military exercises on 9/11 that included a plane hijacking drill that interfered with the military response to the 9/11 attacks
-- pushed for manufactured evidence from the CIA that could be used to justify an invasion of Iraq
-- repeatedly spread lies about the threat from Iraq to the media, to justify an invasion of Iraq
-- poorly managed the Iraq war and aftermath of toppling Saddam Hussein
-- engaged in war profiteering by owning major shares of companies that benefited from the Iraq war
-- promoted the use of illegal torture by the CIA and US military
-- overall was the driving force behind a war that led to the death of tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis
Prior to Trump, he was truly the face of evil for the US govt.
Though crazily enough, he now looks better than the Orange Shit King Trump. Cheney at least seemed to respect our democracy to some extent-- and way more than Velveeta Voldemort.
