Trump and Kushner-- Partners in Treason

This is just jaw-dropping:
To review, Kushner allegedly asked Russian Ambassador Kislyak to arrange a secret, secure backchannel through which members of Trump team could communicate directly to the Kremlin. This was the heart of last night’s Post blockbuster. Kushner reportedly asked Kislyak to allow Trump team members access to the secure channels Russia itself uses to send secure communications back to Moscow. This presumably involves secure facilities/hardware at the Russian Embassy and other US-located diplomatic facilities. These definitely exist. We have the same thing in Moscow.
It is difficult to capture how extraordinary and close to incomprehensible such a step would be. As a number of former intelligence officials have noted, if an intelligence officer or really any other US government official did this it would be considered espionage.
This meant opening a channel where Trump team members could speak openly with Russian counterparts without fear of being heard by and behind the backs of the US intelligence community, US diplomats and the US military. Even Kislyak was apparently taken aback by the request. And as a sidelight to this, even if we believe the absolute worst about Kushner and Flynn, no country would ever let foreign nationals have access to those kinds of facilities. Why would Kushner and Flynn push for such a secret channel of communications?

Possibilities mentioned in the piece are to make secret business deals with Russian banks, and for Flynn to coordinate with the Russian military.

Whatever it was about, there was no reason to do it so covertly and out of the eyes of all US officials, unless they were doing something illegal.

IMO, we have to assume the worst possible motives here, a true conspiracy, possibly even something pertaining to deep "ultimate" truths, something like merging control of US and Russian nukes.

""opening a channel where Trump team members could speak openly with Russian counterparts without fear of being heard by and behind the backs of the US intelligence community, US diplomats and the US military.""

ya that would totally suck because the US intelligence community,
US diplomats and the US military should be the only ones allowed to
speak with russian counterparts secretly behind everyone's back.

so i guess it's decided then, trump's entire administration must be impeached immediately. after all,

he's violated the constitution and committed treason right out in the open,

uh oh. ok just to get our ducks in a row, we should figure out exactly how trump has violated the constitution and committed treason. right out in the open. hmm. i can't think of anything, how about you guys - nothing? well we better just leave it up to the NY Times and the Washington Post to figure that out because they are way smarter than us simpletons, right? and if they wind up stumped they can always consult the Twitterverse. after all, if it has been tweeted then it must be so.

anyway it should only take until about the next election for them to actually level charges and begin the impeachment process against darth trump and his evil minions, so we better get started if we want to replace them with hillary and associates. oh the perfect vice president? rosie o'donnell.
hey! here's a good slogan for our gal hillary::

HILLARY/ROSIE 2020!
because even though she may represent the party of pussies,
at least she didn't say that she would grab one!

hey glad you asked! check it; since trump and his whole team are about to be impeached any decade now for crimes that are all too obvious to the NY Times, the Washington Post and everybody who has a small tweet, then we have to work hard and get behind the one and only person who has never ever pandered to nor accepted money from nor traded 20% of uncle shmuel's uranium deposits or given military secrets, to a foreign power. that person would be hillary clinton. oh wait...

oh and to be fair to all those with a small tweet, it might've been very cold out.

My concern here is that the FBI investigation is being headed by Robert Mueller III, a "safe pair of hands" who was appointed FBI director days before 9/11 after heading the fraudulent 'investigations' of the bombing of Pan Am 103 and the BCCI.

I do suspect the U.S. intelligence services are in part manipulating some of this to escalate tensions. There are also many elements within the intelligence community - such as the Brzezinskis - who have very vested interests in a confrontation with Russia. I'm similarly suspicious of the Washington Post because of their longtime extensive ties to the CIA and the DNC and their immediate dismissals of "Pizzagate," the murder of Seth Rich and the fraud lawsuit against the DNC.

However, I fully agree there are some real truths to it as well. For example it recently emerged that the Russian government essentially funded the Trump Tower in Toronto.

Aprofile on Sergey Kislyak from BBC Russia - interestingly, he states that he "knows almost everyone" in D.C.

Intelligence officers - mysterious personages like this, with expansive social networks - are likely at the highest levels of global manipulation.

What if Kislyak is among the "cabal of American and Russian intelligence officers whose masters are above cold war differences"? What if he - a man undoubtedly adept at maintaining a low profile - is deliberately appearing in such compromising positions with Trump and his aides as part of a greater and more sophisticated game aimed at creating a "clash of civilizations" for mutually assured profits?

3:23-- good point. I have not seen a convincing conspiracy storyline for the whole Trump-Russia situation. But certainly at some level, this is all a game to the global elites.

Mighty Wak-- Hillary Clinton is not the president, nor will she be. Please stop inexplicably defending the indefensible in the horrible Trump.

"we should figure out exactly how trump has violated the constitution and committed treason. right out in the open. "

His worldwide businesses, from which he continues to collect money without any blind trust, or wall, are a clear violation of the emoluments clause. He's a kleptocrat, clear and simple.

His dealing with Russians in the Oval office, are fairly clear treason, not to mention the apparent collusion with Russian hacking during the election.

THESE ARE CLEAR CRIMES OF THE MOST SERIOUS NATURE. There is no fudging it, defending it and no vagueness to what exactly happened, unlike so many conspiracy issues I've dealt with here.

right. you know, the GOP hate trump's punk-ass every bit as much as the DNC and the MSM do. with all that hatred of him one might expect actual charges leading to impeachment be leveled at trump.
we're all holding our breath.
