Listen to this NPR segment, where Shostak makes the dumbest old cliched anti-ET UFO arguments (6 min in) -- just such a ridiculous joke of a cover-up of a real phenomenon.
He's roundly debunked here, about 10 minutes in.
Of course, Shostak works for SETI, an ET-denying joke of an organization. What a piece of shit.

fuck the navy and their cameras. ancient cave men had drawn representations of ET's on the walls of their caves many thousands of years ago. giant ancient artifact structures such as the great pyramids and many others were obviously constructed using technology that we still do not have today. many paintings from the renaissance era depicted UFOs.
