An Important Aspect of 9/11 That I Often Neglect

-- is that we really do not know who the hell the hijackers were.

We simply do not know who exactly was on the planes committing these horrendous deeds.


Take the case of Hani Hanjour-- the notoriously bad pilot who supposedly steered flight 77 at ground level into the Pentagon from a long circular descent (something I've discussed before a few times). Well, look at the video of the hijackers supposedly going through security at Dulles Airport to board flight 77. Does that look like Hani Hanjour? It almost certainly is not. So who is it? We have no idea. Is he a hijkacers who is a real pilot or just some random person?

Moreover, except for a few cases, we don't even know that hijackers were really on planes, because we've never seen the flight manifests.

And then importantly, many of the supposed hijackers (at least seven) have turned up alive. So sure, the real hijackers were using false IDs. Fine. But who the hell were they? The FBI and the 9/11 commission seems completely uninterested in finding out. While 15 of the 19 hijackers were supposedly Saudi Arabians, we in fact do not know where they were from-- Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Israel, or even that they existed at all. How do we know that every hijacker wasn't using someone else's name, since certainly some of them were?

It's amazing how little we know about these central figures in 9/11.
