Something I Didn't Know Before 9/11:
that an airplane can slam into a heavy steel wall and simply slice right through it, without any explosion at the point of impact, without anything breaking off and without the least bit of distortion of the structure of the plane.

I think the story for the WTC is backwards. According to the above test, the plane should come apart OUTSIDE the outer wall of the WTC.
