Steroids are to Barry Bonds as...

"9/11 being an inside job" is to the USA.

The evidence for Bonds' steroid use is very compelling, and many oher baseball players have clearly used steroids, but still Bonds has not been proven guilty in a court of law. Many people around sports just don't want to deal with the ugliness of the situation and what it means for baseball. Baseball really doesn't want to deal with Bonds' apparent steroid use, but they can't ignore it either. Baseball says they will investigate, but will they whitewash over the allegations?

I'll let the reader make the comparison with 9/11 and the USA.

It's funny how it's a conspiracy theory to think the US was complicit in 9/11, but it's not a conspiracy theory to think Bonds used steroids... (and yes, the allegation would be that Bonds "conspired" to use steroids with his personal trainer in order to enhance his performance.)
