In Case You Missed It

I think probably the most critical point of Ginny Howard's essay on the "Billiard Ball Example" is that Dr. Wood presented her billiard ball analysis at a Society of Experimental Mechanics meeting-- to professional engineers-- and NO ONE QUESTIONED THE PREMISE!

As I posted a few months back, there are many reasons why most engineers haven't spoken on the WTC demolition.

Dr. Wood is a courageous whistle-blower who has put her career on the line-- for the truth.

That's alot of space you just wasted when you could have simply said: We still don't have any structural engineers on our side.

i don't see any structural engineers on your side either - in fact i don't see ANY engineers of ANY stripe supporting the official nonsense. why is that?

D. Allan Firmage

That was toooooo easy.

You still have ZERO structural engineers on your side.

haha you can't do any better than that? i see Woodruff Miller in a google search but i see nothing about him that is related to the wtc. but i do see Allan Firmage at google about wtc yet it links to something that doesn't have his name anywhere on it - and what kind of moron url is that supposed to be? it leads nowhere because you still have nothing. you're better off quoting 911myths.com. so if you can find someone who disputes
http://janedoe0911.tripod.com/BilliardBalls.html
then you should feel free to link a disputation of it. until then your sword of nonsense still needs sharpening.

To 'Sword of Truth':

Why do we need a structural engineer to pronounce 'what happened' when a little high school physics, judiciously applied, resolves the question in a way anyone can understand?

Structural engineers aren't gods; they're human just like the rest of us. Best I can tell, the very great majority of them were terrorized by 9/11 into accepting the OCT without question, along with most Americans. Those engineers aren't thinking straight. Moreover, structural engineers can make mistakes or succumb to threats or bribes just like anyone else. Believing the word of gatekeepers in not a safe way to proceed!

Best put your own thinking cap on and do the work yourself!

Hey, just use your eyes! If you go to www.terrorize.dk, you can see all kinds of video takes that show the towers were EXPLODED!!

Gravity doesn’t send stuff UP and OUT. And it CERTAINLY doesn’t pulverize 90,000 of cement into fine powder -- IN MID-AIR!!

Don’t you sense a bit of a disconnect between reality and the OCT?

In response to the Sword of Cluelessness, Judy Wood has a degree in structural engineering-- she IS a structural engineer. She is in a Mechanical Engineering Department-- but she is a structural engineer.

Can we please put this silly complaint about not having a structural engineer to go against the official story to bed?

Why haven't MORE structural engineers gone against the official story? The short answer is that they are weenies. I guess it takes a woman to do something brave like go against the official government story.

1.) A. Woodruff Miller's comments can be found here along with D. Allan Firmage (both structural engineering prof's from Steve Jones's school).

http://www.geocities.com/debunking911/jones.htm

2.) Structural engineers are important because high school physics are NOT enough.

3.) Judy Wood is not, has not nor will she ever be a structural engineer.

haha! you call that a refutation? that's barely even a disputation. that wasn't even a nice try.

you talking to yourself, S.O.T.?

if you're talking about that debunking article, personally I think I'd rather trust Dr. Wood and not some unknown debunker who clearly has an agenda.

But, to each his own.

and further, S.O.T., I am NOT necessarily supporting Dr. Jones' analysis, which I think has flaws.

The first letter against Jones at that site is laughably fact-free. But some of the arguments against his thermite model are valid. And Jones clearly makes silly (and common) mistakes, such as calling the little pieces flying out of the collapse steel columns and not the aluminum cladding.

In any case, here I am supporting Dr. Wood's analysis, whose work was clearly not understood by the debunker at the site you referenced.

My agenda is victory for our side in the war against terror and fascism.

Your agenda is betraying your country spitting on the memory of the dead and spreading enemy propaganda.

But do let me know if you ever cough up that striuctural engineer?

sword of cluelessness wouldn't recognize fascism if it hit 'em in the face.

Fascism is when women are forbidden to leave their houses without the permission of a male relative or without wearing a garbage bag that covers thier entire body. Fascism is when women who violate these rules are buried up to thier necks in the sand and have rocks thrown at thier heads till they die from massive cranial hemmoraghing.

No one has yet come after a single one of you for betraying your country to cry on behalf of the above described monsters.

You have no right to cry "fascism!".

And may God have mercy upon your souls.

if that's how you define fascism, i don't even want to know what you'd define the war on (moron) terror as.
you continue to illustrate your complete lack of knowledge. please, do some research, for yourself. you've got a great tool at your disposal (the net) so try using it for something else besides showing us how little you know.

interesting spin markyx..
what did Dr. Wood really say? go listen for yourself...

from Non-Random Thoughts (6/29/06): Jim Fetzer interview Dr. Wood

@ ~15:30

Fetzer: So what you're suggesting Judy, is that you, as an expert in these multiple relevant fields, were looking at a scenario that simply didn't make sense from the laws of physics and engineering.

Wood: Correct, and part of my research work has been to look at engineering in nature - how does nature design structures and perhaps we can copy those designs and use them in engineering designs. And one thing that struck me about the World Trade Centers in that they're very much like trees - outer core, inner core. A tube within a tube design and thats what allows a tree to wave in the breeze.

Fetzer: Marvelous

Wood: But also I started thinking about how trees come down. They don't start turning into sawdust from the top down with the sawdust flying out.

Fetzer: That's a perfect parallel because what we actually have with the Twin Towers is that they're blowing up from the top - each floor is blowing up. So the sawdust, turning a tree into sawdust is a perfect analogy Judy. Absolutely perfect.

Wood: Recently I gave a talk at an engineering conference where I showed some diagrams of the towers being built, and showed, if this were a tree, and an Kebler elf cut this big chunk out of the side and built their house where their dwelling is, would that effect the towers, and everyone in the room could see that no. That they way the structures were design, it can't bring it down.

Fetzer: And the little house would be analogous to the plane impact.

Wood: Right, you could have several planes. The planes hitting the towers were like bullets being shot into a tree.
