WTC Challenge-- Day 4
Again-- I challenge anyone to build a model of a steel tower with similar dimensions and structure to the WTC and show it undergoing complete collapse at near free-fall speed following limited structural damage and subsequent column damage (from fire or from physical severing).
It should be easy to do, right?
If the official story is true, that is.
All you have to do is build a rigid tower with similar dimensions to the WTC, then cause damage to 10% of the tower about one third of the way from the top-- then have the tower completely collapse into basic components.
Think of it as an engineering challenge.
It really shouldn't be that hard to do.
If the official story is true, that is.
Come on-- don't you really want to prove the conspiracy nuts wrong!?!?

Can I use chicken wire?
Go for it, if you think it will work.

You never cease to impress me with how utterly stupid you are.

Perhaps in your world that is made up of coat hangers and rabbit wire and a bucket of kerosene, modeling something like the collapse of the WTC might be easy. Most everyone else in the world would realize that modeling something as complex as that would require more than the fanciful imagination of a wacked out moonbat and a few trips to the Home Depot.
CS has a picture of the Death Ray on his blog.
Most everyone else in the world would realize that modeling something as complex as that would require more than the fanciful imagination...
most everyone else in the world, 'cept for NIST ofcourse! NIST must not have anyone with a fanciful imagintion, certainly not one which could handle modeling WTC collapse on 9/11
thanks to instabitch for more drivel and meaningless remarks, all without citing one actual critque or example of how you might have faulted in your model. Spooked, you endeavored to illustrate the stability a tower with similar dimensions and construction as the WTCs after simulated damage perimeter and core damage was done. you attempted to recreate the collapse scenerio with your model... and you failed! ;-)
my hats off to you Spooked, tin foil and all. here i thought the model everyone was talking about for the last few days was related to your post on DU i had seen a few months back-- little did i know that you had build a 22 story model.
instabitch, please post comments with some actual substance-- i'm getting tired and SOT and CS here and i was hoping you'd be able to show them how a real flyboy replys to the moonbats. just as long as don't try to tell us the towers were mostly 'made out of glass' again!
It's been done.
Spook won't accept it though because it doesn't confirm his beliefs.

Speaking of DU, it's obviously full of professional conspiracy deniers. They use just about every classic tactic in the book. Many people comment on their aggressive attempts at ridiculing people like Spooked911, but it's always possible that some who do that are just plain ignorant.
What can't (in my opinion) be plausibly attributed to mere ignorance is the use of the classic disnfo/propaganda questions "So what?" and "What's that prove?".
I also have come to believe that the owners of DU are complicit in the coverup of 9/11 by allowing their web site to be the primary place where professional agents are allowed to pretty much have the run of the place, as far as promoting conspiracy denial disinformation/propaganda is concerned.
I'd be very interested in comments to this post. If you know anything about the real history of DU, its owners etc., I for one, would be all ears.
Many thanks.
Good God.
Is there anyone who's NOT in on 9/11?
...by allowing their web site to be the primary place where professional agents are allowed to pretty much have the run of the place...
you talking about 911blogger? ;-)
i don't know much about the background regarding DU but i do believe that with any piece information you've got the consider the source/background and process it accordingly.

as if!
hey sword, ask those geniuses what caused the spontaneous combustion of the many dozens of cars, some many blocks distant from the wtc on 9/11! they won't answer my questions.
Good God, I'm the only one left. Everyone else, even Spooked, is suspect.
I'm kidding, of course.
My view of the whole disinfo worry game is that it is not worth playing. My limited understanding of such nefarious activities is that the primary objective is to get people to play the game. I just assume people are sovereign individuals and take their arguments for what they are worth.
From what I saw, Spooked held his own at DU just fine.
"Most everyone else in the world would realize that modeling something as complex as that would require more than the fanciful imagination of a wacked out moonbat and a few trips to the Home Depot."
Yeah, it might take the resources of the federal government.
Pinch, if you don't mind, I want to give you a little advice. In my circles, if you want to be respected, you treat people with respect. If you want to be listened to, you say something worth saying.
Not yet. They just did the plane through the external columns.
