World Trade Center, from the Empire State Building

I found this nice picture the other day in a photo album, from when I visited NYC in 1994.

What's noteworthy besides what a pretty day it was and what a gorgeous view it was, is how from the Empire State Building, you had a straight-on view of the WTC. They were aligned directly facing the Empire State Building.

Which means this video of the 2nd hit was probably taken from the Empire State Building:


Why the video is tilted is beyond me. It's interesting to think what kind of camera would have been taking this shot from the Empire State Building. The camera seems to be on a tripod and has a pretty good zoom.
