Absolutely Maddening

That is, hearing radio and TV reports and reading articles on the war in Iraq where they refer to the "War on Terror" and talk about terrorism in a completely uncritical manner.

I certainly can't remember the last time any of these reports reminded us that we went to Iraq to get rid of the WMD, that there were no WMD, that Bush kicked out the weapons inspectors and invaded Iraq even though the inspectors found no significant evidence of WMD, and that later Bush pretended that Saddam Hussein didn't comply with the weapons inspectors even though Saddam did.

And I can't remember when a reporter told the truth: that Bush and his minions blatantly lied about the presence of WMD in Iraq before the invasion.

And I REALLY can't remember when the Democrats promised to hold the Bush administration responsible for their their pre-war lies.

Quite a cover-up they have engineered-- of some of the most basic and important recent history we have.

and don't forget that saddam said repeatedly throughout that iraq had no WMDs.

but i guess that when the media is on your side you can easily enable 300 million sheople to convince themselves that it is not only convenient but even expedient to have such a convenient race of evil other guys to destroy.
and don't forget that former prez carter had liver spots!

Speaking of cover-ups and 9/11 - over at DU (Demopublicrats United), the limited, modified hang-out crowd there now might well include "Jack ("no planers are crazy") Riddler" and "Hamden (" wow, I wasn't able to post yesterday due to an accident or convenient non-accident and Lithos has locked the very thread I really, really, NO REALLY - had more I wanted to respond to, but now won't be able to") Rice".

I could be wrong (especially regarding HRice), but I don't think so. When it comes to Disinfo on DU, it's hard to be too cynical.

I became too nauseated from the 9/11 board at DU to go back there since my flight 93 campaign.

It's simply too painful watching the army of shills at work there.

spooked -

I understand, but I hope you will post there at least on occasion.

Between the paid SHILLS and their DU enablers/partners who pose as Moderators/Administrators/Owners & Operators...you have to have the patience of Job to spoon-feed the "OMG, did you see what Obama said about HILLARY!" crowd enough "medicine" just to hope any of it takes effect before they become anxious about "who should run for VP on a ticket with Edwards" & run off to see what their sophomoric peers have to say about THAT.

Still, I hope you will keep up the good fight there whenever you have the time.

YES! Keep up the good fight, Spook911! You are the heart and soul of the TRUTH campaign! The very CORE of reality! The absolute CENTER of sanity and rational thought! The one true blue soul out there in a world of non-believers!

Now....back to the Space-Based or Woolworth-Building-based Destructo (tm) Laser-Dustifying-Zapper Death Beam Ray Gun....where do you think is the most optimal orbit/inclination for such an object to reside where it would have its most lethal capabilities?

ps: had to trademark my "Destructo" name for this thing - it could get popular.
