Bizarre Disconnect from the Media on the Prospect of an Assassination Attempt on Obama

The NYTimes this morning puts out an oblique article about the worries that many have that Obama may be assassinated, but they curiously completely neglect the recent story of a security lapse for Obama at a Dallas rally. In fact, the major media in general have completely neglected the Obama security story, in a way that makes conspiratorially-minded people like me conscious of yet another conspiracy.
