Does anyone really doubt it?
Food shortages, economic turmoil, war criminals in the White House, political upheaval, continuation of a FUBARed war... bad shit is coming for sure.

BAD things ARE coming, for sure. The good news is that the bad times won't last forever. It'll just take a while before they get better because
the media will keep the masses uninformed about the causes of their pain, and an uninformed public cannot become an aroused rage force against the machine.
The vast majority of Americans always cast the blame for bad times on "the government, the liberals, the socialists and communists in the government/congress, politicians etc.".
They just can't quite grasp the notion that wealthy corporations and wealthy people get what they want because they control the lawmakers who can give them what they paid for, and the media will keep the public's attention focused on celebreties, sports, and sensationalism so the public never figures out the zero sum game being played at their expense.
Quiet! "Everybody Loves Raymond" is on next...
it's a secret

"Criminals target energy, financial markets, Mukasey says"
See, THAT'S why gas prices are so high. He doesn't mention the billion dollars worth of petroleum that Exxon/Mobil sells each week to the U.S. military for use in Iraq.
BTW - why doesn't Exxon do the patriotic thing and DONATE the gas needed by our troops (both military and Hessian)? After all, as soon
as Iraq is "stabilized", they're going to be stealing oil from there, so they'll have an abundant supply they can sell on the open market.
Mukasey also throws in a gratuitous
evidence-free allegation about terrorism in that same article.
They never quit. All for the glory of illicit monetary gains, Israel's strategic goal of dividing and weakening Arab countries, and the U.S. Empire goal of using Iraq as the "base" (al Qaeda) for controlling the Middle East and its
large and rich assets of oil and gas.
