McCain Mocks Concerns Over Women's Health Relating to Pregnancy
Simply appalling, and probably a moment that sealed his upcoming loss-- from last night's debate:
Dedicated to fighting authoritarianism, bigotry, greed, corruption, climate change denial, white supremacy, racism, stupidity and general evil, as well as the exploration of interesting ideas and conspiracy theories including 9/11, UFOs, ET's, the paranormal and the general unknown.

All sane people are pro-life.
Most sane people believe that no woman should be forced to bear an unwanted baby and most people would oppose any law that requires a woman to have an abortion.
Most Democrats and even most Republicans believe in "choice". Recall Sarah Palin saying how she "chose" to have baby Trig and how she "would counsel" a pregnant young woman to "choose life".
Most people who oppose a woman's right to choose abortion also oppose a woman or a man's right to use birth control. Is the deep, ultimate truth that these same people oppose contraception because they are insecure and fear that if their mate can use contraception, they might well do so...with someone outside of their relationship and might even eventually leave them and cleave to another?
Could that be right, Bunky Binky?
If Roe v Wade is overturned, individual states will be free to
enact legislation making abortions legal or illegal.
Politicians (of either major party) will be reluctant to ban abortions.
I've been thinking about why McCain acted as relatively gentlemanly as he did last night and why he didn't have some kind of "rabbit" to pull out of his (missing) hat, and I'm wondering if maybe the reason is that
he knows (or thinks he knows) that Bush is going to do something dramatic in the 19 days remaining until the election.
After all, Bush certainly owes McCain a favor after he allowed Rove to smear his character and
hurt his innocent wife and children in the 2000 South Carolina
Republican primary.
