Our Soon-to-be Ex-President: George W. Pathetic
In an interview to be broadcast on ABC News tonight, President Bush conceded that he just might have been part of the reason Barack Obama won the White House.I know it's trite, but... words fail me.
"I think it was a repudiation of Republicans," he said. "And I'm sure some people voted for Barack Obama because of me. I think most people voted for Barack Obama because they decided they wanted him to be in their living room for the next four years explaining policy."
He apologized for the economic crisis, saying, "I'm sorry it's happening, of course... Obviously I don't like the idea of people losing jobs, or being worried about their 401(k)s. On the other hand, the American people got to know that we will safeguard the system. I mean, we're in. And if we need to be in more, we will."
He also admitted he was "unprepared" for a war in Iraq that has gone on to claim thousands of American lives and tens of thousands of Iraqis.
And there's also this story-- Bush admin ignored warnings on bad mortgages back in 2006.

Spooked. Spooked. How can you come down so hard on Bush & McCaffrey...
Given all of your ties to the world's largest democracy, it's surprising and cynical to see just how authoritarian and sanctimonious you are about deleting comments which don't even come close to being personal attacks.
One wonders if you would delete a comment by "ap" if he were to fall off the wagon and post a critical comment about something that YOU posted.
