Outrage You Can Take to the Bank-- Banks Hating the Public Scrutiny That Comes with Taking Government Money
Crazy shit:
Every day now I see a new article quoting this or that bank CEO saying it was a mistake to take government aid and that they've decided to give it back. Yesterday it was Northern Trust. Today it's Bank of America. Yet each time I look down into the articles, the headlines about paying the money back are never borne out in the articles themselves. Northern Trust doesn't want to be hassled any more about lavish events. So they're giving the money back. When? As soon as they can manage it.In the case of B of A, it seems they didn't like questions about giving out millions in bonuses. Why haven't these asses been lynched yet?
Now Bank of America's Ken Lewis says they made a "tactical mistake" in asking for and receiving more money to absorb Merrill Lynch. So when are they paying it back? Hopefully in "two to three years."
How can you say it was a mistake when you won't be able to pay it back for years? I think that means you need it.

PC Roberts:
“This $205 billion (Afghan/Iraq) is on top of $534 billion for the Pentagon in 2010, for total military spending of $739 billion.”
“China’s military spending at $59 billion in 2008.”
“Russia’s military spending in 2009 is projected to be about $50 billion.”
This will be approved by the same congress that had 95 percent return in the recent election.
It is a vicious closed loop. Much of the funds go back to getting them re-elected. As usual, the citizen underwrites its own destruction, and in the end, their final destruction. The price of utter stupidity.
This and all of the misery (such as banks' behavior noted her) can be traced directly back to their having bought 9/11, and the false trust in a wretched government.
But this imbalance in funding will assure that 9/11 will never be revealed.
Blind stupor. Need no more than the one video post about WMG. Jagged, stepped, cookie cutter hole in no way fits the plane gliding into the wall.
"This and all of the misery (such as banks' behavior noted her) can be traced directly back to their having bought 9/11, and the false trust in a wretched government."
You really BELIEVE that? Based on what?
"Based on what?"
Two thirds (down slightly) of citizens back the 17,000 military personnel expansion. Surely the only conceivable means of selling this is the fear of Terrorism. They don't give a piece of warmed-over dog shit about Afghans or a potential democracy, and they don't know flip about a Texas company pipeline. They associate Afghanistan none whatsoever with oil to fill their guzzlers.
The presence of Terrorism in Germany is as pervasive as Bratwurst and Warsteiner, a 9/11 gift, which keeps on giving.
This is a product of 9/11.
A false trust in government gives it a free, unmonitored, free hand, such as dumping regulations on the financial world.
So, anti-trust disappears 20 years back. We don't understand but we have faith and trust in "OUR" government, just like they said in the 2nd grade, directly following the pledge of allegiance.
