Another Totally Immoral and Senseless War

"US Afghan strikes kill 100, 'mostly civilians'"
During the aerial bombardment and ground operations, more than 100 people have died," western Afghanistan police spokesman Abdul Rauf Ahmadi told AFP, basing his information on reports from police, the Red Cross and locals.

"Twenty-five to 30 of them are Taliban, including from Chechnya and Pakistan, and the rest are civilians including children, women and elderly people," he said.

Awesome job on keeping the slaughter going, Barack.

UPDATE: Good article on the incident from Dan Froomkin here.

Clearly, there has not been enough torture.

"It was difficult to count [the bodies] because they were in very bad shape,” said Khan, adding, “Some had no legs.” Villagers told him that 150 people had been killed, he said.

For its part, the Pentagon vowed to exercise greater care.

At the same time, however, the US commander blamed the insurgents for the killings carried out by the US military, claiming that they purposely “mixed in with the population.”"

Yes-- under the new rules, it's ok to kill civilians because you can always blame it on the terrorists mixing with the civilians. Because killing "terrorists" trumps any question of morality. As long as you can blame it on "terrorists", I guess everything is hunky-dory-- particularly if the civilians are brown people, and better yet muslims.

No "terrorist" (that is anyone brown and in the ME) resorts to civilian human shields. More like a magnet. Get more with one pop. Future terrorists.

German "soldiers" (space men?) in Afghan. Article raves over there mission.
This is German but the picture says is all. German MSM, official version all the way.

They captured "high ranking terrorist suspect" Abdul Razeq. They list a bunch of offenses, like firing on convoys. What else can you do against these Darth Vadors? Or do you capture and arrest the Captain of the enemy army and send him to torture land. Strange!

Were the members of the French Underground listed as terrorists when they wanted their land back, or the Partisan on the Eastern front?
