The Bush-Obama Op
I think the main problem with Bush's killing spree in the Middle East was that it was so over the top, that after a while, it really only appealed to the far right Christian nutjobs.*
I'm guessing the main reason they brought in Obama was so he could make the killing and maiming seem a little more mainstream and much less partisan/fringey.
Because clearly, the torture and killing is still going strong.
*Interesting though how all the quotes are from the Old Testament. Not much Jesus in Rumsfeld's religious war memos.

“Now President Obama has elevated the most notorious of the psychopaths, General Stanley McChrystal, to head the US and NATO military command in Afghanistan.”
“McChrystal’s rise to leadership is marked by his central role in directing special operations teams engaged in extrajudicial assassinations, systematic torture, bombing of civilian communities and search and destroy missions.”
