Happy "BP Ruined the Gulf Forever" Day.

Obviously, the spill was a huge tragedy for many thousands of people and countless animals, and who knows what the real toll was/is-- and definitely people are still suffering from after-effects. But still kind of funny to think about those articles that predicted the whole gulf would erupt from a giant methane bubble and kill us all-- they sounded so scientific and logical-- but it didn't happen, thank god.
