Bush the Torturer
This picture does an amazing job of bringing home just how nasty what the Bush administration did, just by showing Bush doing the dirty work. It's one thing to see a nameless CIA thug waterboarding someone, but to see Bush do it, shows how clearly the USA did it-- in our fucking name.
The only problem with this picture is that Cheney is missing, since he clearly was a major force behind the torture.

if there were no planes, no hijackers, and there is no Al-CIA-duh, or any real organization of terrorists out to "get us "then what would be the point in torturing any of these [not real folks] to obtain information regarding ...what? What information would they have to give up?
Is it possible that the whole "OMG they used torture" bit is just a huge "hangout" to reaffirm the "checks and balances" myth and to pull at the peoples heart-strings...[OMG, how horrible...BUT at least we know what they're doing and they're gonna get in trouble, can't hide this kinda stuff] ....now back to the football game....Bush and friends are so evil but we caught em yesiree.....chips please and the dip....

now thats not to say torture isn't used by the military/intel/spook gangs, i'm sure it is, but not on terrorists who are plotting jihad on america [unless for show]...it would be more like "where's the briefcase motherfucker" etc etc

I think torture was used to elicit false confessions that supported the official story. It's is also a powerful psy-op, showing what bad motherfuckers we are, and that we are brutalizing and subjugating muslims.
In the old days, brutalizing and subjugating indigenous peoples was called 'Colonisation'.
During the conflict between Yugoslav states it was known as 'Ethnic Cleansing'.
Israel uses the term 'Re-settlement'.
After 9/11 it became the 'War on Terror', and more recently in the Middle East and Libya, 'bringing freedom and democracy".
Whatever it's called, brutality and subjugation of anyone is the hallmark of a pyschopathic drive for power and control.
Beginner psychopaths enjoy the hands-on brutality, rape and murder of innocents and, intermediate level psychopaths get to brutalize and control whole populations through dictatorship and supression of dissent.
Advanced psychopaths have learned how to use commercial and finacial monopoly to achieve the same result at a trans-national level - but they still want to enjoy the hands-on stuff in secret!
The creme-de-la-creme of psychopathic desire resides with those who believe they have the godlike right to determine the fate of the whole planet and everyone and everything on it.
Do these people's egos really let them believe that they have a dick big enough to fuck the whole planet?
