Trump and Hitler Both

-- were malignant narcissists, devoid of empathy
-- suffered from paranoia and delusions of grandeur.
 -- had strict authoritarian fathers.
-- were deeply affected by the death of a brother.
 -- performed poorly in school.
-- struggled with temper tantrums they never grew out of.
-- evaded the draft by claiming medical deferments.
-- failed at everything they attempted in their early adult lives.
-- wrote autobiographical manifestos explaining their world view.
-- admired demagogues and ruthless dictators.
-- believed their country’s democratic government was run by a criminally corrupt deep state only they could fix.
-- rose to power by appealing to rural Protestants and did not appeal to the “liberal elites” in large cities.
-- campaigned on a promise of returning their country to glory by making it great again.
-- were nationalist, isolationist, and anti-globalist
-- rejected ties to other countries through migration, economic trade, and security alliances.
-- claimed unfair treaties were crippling their countries.
-- made border closings a centerpiece of their political campaigns.
-- were white supremacists who blamed problems within their country on minorities and immigrants. -- loved to give hate speeches to large crowds of supporters.
 -- never accepted blame
 -- constantly instigated political controversy
-- encouraged supporters to wear branded clothing showing support.
-- vilified political opponents, calling them leftist, liberal scum, socialists, communists, and spoke of the desire to imprison them.
-- derided the electoral process and referred to it as being rigged against them.
-- pretended to respect Christianity but were actually atheists who despised and feared religious people.
-- had to overcome old guard conservatives who did not approve of their demagoguery, as well as military and cabinet-level advisors who believed they were reckless and worked against them (all of whom eventually became sycophants or were driven out for disloyalty).
-- used blackmail over their own party to coerce support.
-- made frequent comments suggesting they would never relinquish power.
-- attacked the rule of law, eventually stacking the courts and law enforcement with loyalists.
-- manipulated their followers with lies and propaganda.
-- refused to acknowledge any mistakes and responded to critics with personal attacks and name-calling.
-- rejected scientific data that undermined their false claims.
-- attacked the media and claimed any bad news about them was fake.
-- demanded military parades in their honor.
-- demanded that those within their government pledge loyalty to them over loyalty to their country.
-- gave up alcohol, but were secretly addicted to stimulants.
-- allegedly suffered from increasing bowel problems and walked with a shuffling gate, showing signs of diseased minds.
-- locked immigrants in cages denying them the right to due process.
-- caused the death of massive numbers of their own citizens without accepting any blame and without expressing any empathy or remorse for the loss of life they caused.
