Dodgers! Dodgers! Dodgers!
I grew up in LA and I am a big Dodgers fan. I followed every game of the 1988 season and it was wonderful magic.
Since 1988, the Dodgers have been a perennial disappointment-- mostly being competitive with their pitching but never scoring enough runs to be very exciting.
This year is different.
The Dodgers have some magic. They have a team that can score, and they fight and come from behind.
And today they clinched the division, against their bitter diviusion rivals the Giants, by coming from 3 runs behind in the bottom of the ninth to score 7 runs! They won on a grand slam by Steve Finley!
Un-fucking-believable.
Oh baby!
I hope the magic lasts for another month or so!
