Good News

Voting problems in Ohio are finally getting a lot of attention. It is amazing how slow the media and the government works sometimes.

Here's a good overview of what's going on in Ohio with the vote. They have an extensive list of vote problems. It seems conceivable, though maybe not likely, that if you add all these problems up, it could switch the vote to Kerry. The big problem is ALL the people who simply didn't get a chance to vote-- either because of crazy wait times due to not having enough voting machines allocated at the precinct or being told to vote at the wrong precinct or not having one's provisional ballot counted. Clearly this was a deliberate way Republicans sabotaged the Democratic vote.

I certainly think that on November 2nd, 2004, more Ohioans wanted to go out and vote for Kerry than for Bush.

That of course is not the way it turned out.

Where is the remedy for this travesty?
