No One Anticipated the Levee Breaking
This morning, about 7:05 am Eastern time, George Bush was interviewed by Diane Sawyers on ABC's Good Morning America. This is what he said:
"I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees."
Condi Rice after 9/11:
"no-one could imagine hijackers using airplanes as missiles and crashing them into buildings"
What a bunch of fuckers.

I saw a local NO news report posted at DU that martial law had been declared in NO, but it hasn't been widely reported.
For the record: Martial Law has NOT been declared. It was attempted, but N.O., & L.A. law prohibit it.
Whether or not a de-facto state of Martial Law exists, or does not, is a different matter entirely.
But again, OFFICIALLY, there is NOT a state of Martial Law currently in effect in N.O.
