Black Plane

I always thought the plane in this video was particularly fake-looking. If nothing else, the coloration of the plane is bizarrely dark, to say the least:



But I never noticed before that this video also shows the plane briefly with a missing wing-- much like other 2nd hit videos do:


What's hard to know is if this "blinking" wing is telling us something about the 2nd plane illusion (is the cloaking device going off early on the wing?) or is it just some weird artifact of many videos?
