Hidden Agenda
The incoherence of "The Washington Elites" regarding Iraq is summarized nicely here.
I think it is clear that the Washington elites have a hidden agenda regarding Iraq. What surprises me is how the big liberal bloggers such as Glenn Greenwald, Atrios, Josh Marshall, Kos and Digby always seem oh-so-confused about what motivates these pro-war politicians and pundits. These liberal bloggers do a great job of seeing the inconsistency and incoherence in the elites, but they seem constitutionally unable to figure out that there is a hidden agenda at work with these elites. In fact, this is much the same way these same bloggers are unable to see anything wrong with the official 9/11 story, I might add. Could it be that these big liberal bloggers are also elites of a kind-- with their own hidden agendas? I suspect so.
While there are surely many hidden agendas regarding Iraq, I noted out a few posts back that the continued Iraq conflict serves as a very useful distraction from questions about 9/11. One might imagine that the longer Iraq festers, the more it overshadows 9/11 and keeps people from looking back at the insane bullshit we were fed on 9/11.

And, IMO, you're a big liberal blogger too Spooked-- without or without the Adsense! ;-) Hell, Judy Wood even gave you a shout out when she was on Fetzer's show. Keep up the great work and insightful analysis, Spooked!
yes. in my opinion spooked is the only 'liberal blogger' on the entire web who is worth his salt. the rest are fools or phonies.
