Perp Whistleblowers?
Let's say we have up to one hundred people who directly helped perpetrate 9/11.
Given that--
1) since they were involved in the attacks, they probably have very little conscience
2) if they blow the whistle they will most likely be killed
3) the media is perfectly happy to sweep 9/11 conspiracies under the rug
What is the incentive for them to speak out?

One argument you sometimes hear is that someone who knew something would divulge to get on Oprah, become famous, whatever. Not true. First, you have the fear of getting killed. The media ignores whistleblowers, and in controversial cases, doesn't treat reporters and producers well either. Look at Tailwind and the the Florida Fox news affiliate show on bovine growth hormone. So for a potential whistleblower, the risks are too high given that there is no guarantee your story will be published.
I'm going to let my kookiness run free and say it is possible some of the operatives don't even remember what they did. MKULTRA and all that.
Ningen - Tailwind - excellent example. A perfect example where of why the truth needn't come out.
And you're assuming that all who worked on the 9/11 false-flag Op knew the WHOLE picture, beyond their task.
Most likely, MOST did NOT.
For obvious reasons (the people doctoring the video feeds of the planes crashing into the Towers HAD to have known they were working to fool the World, e.g.) a good deal of people knew quite a bit, if not the whole 9/11 Psy-Op picture.
Op's such as these by their very nature are HIGHLY compartmentalized.
Leave it to imagination that the Military-Industrial complex has some VERY effective & creative ways to dissuade you from ever talking, if you actually realize you were part of the operation.

military-intelligence operation...the media was COMPLICIT because they uploaded the fake video feeds (CNN, FOX, etc)...so there HAD to be some highly placed (and powerful) operatives working for those media outlets at the time, possibly working directly under Cheney, Rumsfeld, Myers, etc...

Why do we blindly think of the media as independent? Since the time we stopped using film, videos are not reliable witnesses; there are no negatives, only skilled animators' hands.
One reason the media would not help a person with evidence contradicting the official story is because they are, in Mafia terms, "made men." The crimes committed in the past binds the media to the criminals with such force as to make them co-conspirators.
Criminals are stupid and selfish. That is precisely why they think they can get a way with it and why they leave such large tracks (Body Heat 1981). They refuse to invest the money necessary to achieve perfection.
The wtc1 shots aired by the video on the morning of 911 are all fakes. They are not altered originals. The budget mindedness of the criminals shows thru - WESCAMs that can't get the color or focus right. Ground video cameras without sound. An unwillingness to interview people on the ground around the towers (especially after the Path lady!)
The network broadcast videos of the WTC1 hole smoke shows it blowing up wind and the billowing smoke either doesn't have a shadow or the shadow is wrong. Amazingly, the smoke "goes out" when ground photographers used zoom lenses.
And then there's poor Edna Cintron.
A video showing wtc2 exploding with no plane would probably pass first thru media's dirty hands. The FBI would immediately be contacted. The owner gets a combination of threats and money and another altered video would be born.
Fancy analysis is not required. The UA175/WTC2 encounter looks fake because it is.
