On Tuesday, March 03, their DJ closed at $6726, usually a one to one effect on their pension, a product of the madness.
What does it take to wake up. They voted 95 percent back in. Just what the hell do they tell them on the tube?
"They" say that what's needed for the economy is for more people to be able to borrow more money so they can go deeper into debt by purchasing more "stuff".
Now comes Mr. Orpheus C. Kerr (City Councilman in Ohio). Mr. Kerr says
that what's needed isn't more debt, rather higher wages and salaries for most workers combined with substantially higher taxes on those earning above $100K per year.
Mr. Kerr's ideas sound more reasonable to me.
