War Crimes Watch

Progress:
Spanish prosecutors have decided to press forward with a criminal investigation targeting former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and five top associates over their role in the torture of five Spanish citizens held at Guantánamo, several reliable sources close to the investigation have told The Daily Beast.

One interesting thing here seems to be the tacit approval this activity is getting from the Obama administration. Clearly they want to have little to do with this on the domestic front-- but it seems they support this in some ways. I suppose the administration does have to walk a fine line given the idiotic culture we live in-- though real leadership would be obviously to pursue justice at all costs.

These dudes walk the plank and King O looks really good on the torture issue, and he needs a lot of help here. It is all a game of image, no substance. A little distraction helps.

How does this help the tax payer?

US snipers kill some pirates with shots to the head.

When is murder, murder, and not murder?

German police shot Tim K. in the legs after he had killed 16. But he was a Westerner, of course.
