Most Americans Seem to Have Forgotten Just How Horrible the Vietnam War Was
This film-- "Vietnam: American Holocaust" -- is a good reminder, from the massively brutal and senseless bombings, to the poisoning of the land with defoliants; from the lies about the Gulf of Tonkin to the razing of villages, from random slaughter to the wanton raping and killing of innocent people. All horrible actions done in the name of the US.
Where is the punishment?

Anybody seen that?
Readily availale now--after 30 years of censorship is the documentary "Winter Soldier."
It has press conferences where GIs admitted their atrocities.
Of course some may have been plants. To wit, John Kerry with his 2-sided Op.
But most of this documentary is riveting and sickening as to how commonplace were the atrocities committed by American soldiers.
A.P.
The movie I watched had segments from the Winter Soldier testimony. Pretty horrible stories.
