Certain intelligence agencies have:
strengthened their domination of the Heroin business and vastly improved
the amount of cash and other assets available for present and future false flag operations, and Afghan politicians now know, in no uncertain terms, how they are to behave if they want to live and grow richer beyond all normal levels of avarice.
U.S. military brass can now make stronger arguments for the case that they can and should be allowed to prosecute even more wars.
Ditto the military industrial/security complex.
right-- the elites, as usual, have made out quite well from the war
