Just a Real Quick Hit on the Recent Election

I'm still trying to figure out how a president with below 50% approval rating manages to get 51% of the country to vote for him.

(Obviously, I know it can be done by getting his supporters out in greater numbers than Kerry's supporters, but I am dubious that he really did it with the large turnout in the election. And the unverifiable nature of e-voting and the discrepencies in exit polls with final results in key states hardly allays my fears.)
