Gingrich: I'm a War-Mongering Ghoul

He's also an asshole, idiot and bigot to boot.

Should you attempt to read the article, a barf-bag is recommended.

Update: be sure to read the first comment, for a very interesting perspective on Newt. I'd be quite happy if this fellow was right.

I worked for Newt. I am a libertarian, 9-11 truther, combat vet, political activist, Constitutional and civil liberty absolutist, and an anti-partisan crusader. I was against the Iraq war from get-go and I have constantly railed against Bush II, as far back as 1998. I supported McCain in 2000, telling everyone that if Bush got elected - 1) he would destroy the Republican Party for a generation (which is not good for America in the long term, considering how pervasive the major parties remain) and 2) he could well get us all killed.

Again, I was saying this in 98-99, as a Republican activist. I currently want my party to be totally disempowered in November, returned to minority status in Congress and purged of the religious national socialist opportunists who have hijacked it. I consider myself a patriot, in the real sense, and I believe that my party has been co-opted and abused by big government so-called Republicans and right-wing religious nuts who have betrayed every single one of its historic, core values - the ones embodied in Lincoln, TR, Taft, Eisenhower, and Reagan (whose Presidency was severely tainted by that evil Bonesman and all-time greatest charlatan - old Poppy Bush).

For what it's worth, Newt was as much a victim of the big government neo-con fascists (namely Delay et al) when he was ousted by a cabal of the same power-hungry scum now finally being picked off, indictment by indictment, if not totally discredited by reality and truth. Newt is not tainted by the corruptions that have pervaded the national GOP, pretty much since his departure in '98. Though I vigorously disagree with his past defenses of the Bush war, he is a global thinker and a pragmatic strategist who understands that Iran and North Korea are real threats, irrespective of the Bush criminal juggernaut's illegal, self-serving war or any other atrocities resulting from the fabricated 9-11/Al Qaeda pretexts.

Newt clearly and unequivocally condemns pretty much the entire Bush foreign policy as a flailing failure that has put us in greater jeopardy than ever. But he knows we are stuck with the world Bush has given us, like it or not. (That is the ultimate crime, I believe.....we have been led down a path of no return, even after we have become aware of being led astray by murderous war criminals in running our Executive branch of government.)

Anyway, Newt is not trying to promote WWIII, he is trying to sound the alarm that the Bush administration has literally led us to it. He wants the dangers caused by this administration to be TAKEN SERIOUSLY and not just lumped into a general laundry list with Iraq and so many other destructive misadventures in power, that seem so routine any more and have left us so numb that they have nearly stopped registering as cold hard reality. (Like living in a nightmare that has you frozen in a terrified sleep state - your mind controlled by the seeming unreality of it all - exactly what 9-11 intended).

I would rather hear someone with Newt's prominence on the R side finally call a spade a spade and dispel illusions that we are not in deep shit now. Better we plan for the worst consequences of Bush with eyes wide open and be realistic that Bush has led us to WWIII. We cannot just pretend it ends with 9-11 and Iraq....Bush's crimes will continue shaping history towards global apocalypse if we kid ourselves that the worst is not yet to come, unless we get real.

All I am saying is that Newt gets a bad rap but having worked with him closely for a time I know that he privately has nothing but utter disdain and disgust for what has been done to our country and its role on the planet by the Bushies. I am happy that he has taken to quoting the most articulate, inspirational, and pound-for-pound perhaps the greatest president in modern history - silenced in Dallas, Texas (what he called 'nut country' as he landed at Love Field) by the same evil pigs whose progeny brought us 9-11 and persist in the organized devastation of humankind. Nowadays a great litmus test of good Republican versus evil Republican is how they view JFK. The good ones now embrace him without question. The bad ones.....well, 'nuf said.

So I simply suggest that you give Newt the benefit of the doubt and read between the lines, rather than assign him a knee-jerk dismissal based on partisan alignment or a lot of smearing he underwent years ago (that I know first-hand to have been bald-faced lies in many instances). Remember, Newt was demonized by the same MSM that is part of the world's biggest problems....did you ever wonder why they did this to him?? At least in part because he wanted to break the power of Washington politics and its out of control machinations...but they eventually broke him, in short order.

Again, HE JUST CALLED OUT THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION FOR PRESIDING OVER A WORLD DEVOLUTION INTO WWIII. He knows that simply blaming Bush is not going to reverse the damage unless we identify how much more damage we face and work to mitigate it as best we can.

Great blog, by the way. An everyman's resource for updates and good relevant developments on the greatest crime in history. Thank you for a courageous public service. You have answered JFK's call that 'here on Earth, God's work must truly be our own.'

Peace and Light To You Always.

to think that bushco's foreign policy are failures is to assign them benevolent motives - what i mean is, if the true goal of u.s. foreign policy was to spread freedom and democracy throughout, then yes, they (bushco) are failures. but if the goal is to promote endless war and strife for the benefit of their defense contractor pals then one would have to conclude that bushco foreign policy has been a resounding success.
failing? all the way to the bank.

do you think Newt knows the truth about 9/11?

can anybody really?
i have no doubt that newt finds it much more comfortable to just go along with the evil muslim scenario. it's easier to just go along.

Thanks for kind thanks. I don't want to amaze, but maybe enlighten a little.

The call is yours to make and yours to make informed.

"do you think Newt knows the truth about 9/11?"

Above all else, Gingrich is a consummate academic of the first-rate. The only job he ever had in private life was as a charismatic college history professor of unquestioned brilliance. By any measure he is an honest-to-God certifiable genius. When he dedicated his talents to the pure study of every conceivable aspect of our country's history and its founding philosophies it was not long before he applied them to the present day. In doing so he forged a clear, clean vision for a modern American government that honors the near-sacred eternal vision our founders gave all of mankind.

He proved himself an unflappable advocate for new ideas that restated in practical terms our most fundamental principles and protections of human liberty ensured by freedom from Leviathan (the omnipotent, pervasive state). He persevered through 3 consecutive races for Congress before finally succeeding. For 16 years he never yielded to the Washington culture and railed against Congressional corruption with such force that he was labeled a 'bomb thrower'. His crusade against the crooked but powerful leadership of the Democratic majority earned him a lot of bitter enemies and few friends but also a level of respect owed only to a genuine leader. His long, lone quest broke the back of Congressional corruption, taking down the most powerful man in Congress, a crooked Representative from Texas eventually ousted in disgrace (House Speaker Jim Wright).

Soon he took the very same ideas he started with and in a matter of months made history by single-handedly engineering not only the complete transformation of the power structure and conventional wisdom of American politics and government.....but in a way that still stands as the single most profound modern proof that democracy works and the ultimate power lies with the people.

It was less than three years before he was ousted in a coup staged by a man who became the most powerful man in Congress, a crooked Representative from Texas eventually ousted in disgrace (Rep. Tom Delay).

All that said, I honestly have no clue what Newt knows. But knowing the voracious curiosity and voluminous intake of Newt's mind I would guess that he knows something about the topic. And when Newt knows about something about a topic like this, he learns anything and everything about it, if only as an academic. So if he knows, he KNOWS.

"i have no doubt that newt finds it much more comfortable to just go along with the evil muslim scenario. it's easier to just go along."

Unfortunately I can't refute this but I think Newt is pragmatic long term thinker. He certainly has plenty of reason to trust that the will of the people will ultimately prevail over even the worst attempts to corrupt our very system itself. He also knows enough to see much greater tides of history, to choose his fights carefully, and to spend his ammunition most wisely.

I guess I am saying that Newt knows that winning a war may require abandoning battles that are the most righteous but also the least realistic to ultimate victory.

Bringing the 9-11 devils to justice is simply not as important as the task of saving our very Republic from their treachery. Taking them head-on only makes them stronger. But letting them twist and twitch in the public square under the watchful, KNOWING glare of an enraged citizenry allows a systematic undermining of not only their schemes but also the very power needed to execute them. And they may never realize it until their day is truly done.

I guess you can analogize to the historic parallel of JFK's murder.

Do you think that Ronald Reagan would have become the President who faced down brutal Soviet totalitarianism if, in 1968, knowing the real deal about Dallas, he called for the heads of Allen Dulles, Ford, LBJ, and countless other JFK's murder ccomplices? I would almost say that Reagan, in fact, became JFK's true successor in spirit. It is pretty safe to say he would have been disappeared into a loony farm or a shallow grave had he spent 1968 and his national standing trying to bring Satan to trial in Hell's court.

Anyway, I think we need to be less concerned about the past, which we can never change, and more concerned about the future, which we might never live to see.

you make newt out to be a veritable salt of the earth - i can't dispute that and wouldn't dwell on it if i could -

Anyway, I think we need to be less concerned about the past, which we can never change, and more concerned about the future, which we might never live to see.

i agree that we might never see the future, but to not be so concerned with the past is akin to giving the perps a pass. and what about the next 911 and the next? following one or more do we say we need to be less concerned about the past which we can never change? how many 911s until we become concerned?

I didn't say UNconcerned about the past, just LESS concerned about it than we owe to the future.

We MUST always use the past as cautionary guide, but we must also be careful not live in it.

Newt IS the salt of the Earth. I made him out to be nothing, I just stated facts.

Peace.

Real Life Thoughts from Newt

"If combat means living in a ditch, females have biological problems staying in a ditch for thirty days because they get infections and they don't have upper body strength. I mean, some do, but they're relatively rare. On the other hand, men are basically little piglets, you drop them in the ditch, they roll around in it, doesn't matter, you know. These things are very real. On the other hand, if combat means being on an Aegis-class cruiser managing the computer controls for twelve ships and their rockets, a female may be again dramatically better than a male who gets very, very frustrated sitting in a chair all the time because males are biologically driven to go out and hunt giraffes."

-- Adjunct Professor Newt Gingrich, Reinhardt College, January 7, 1995, "Renewing American Civilization."

No argument taken.

I was just wishing peace to everyone as a parting thought.

But I gladly triple your peace, and raise you a serenity!
