Yet Another Perspective on Aluminum Wing Impacting Steel Column

In this post, I compared the cross-sectional size of a wing versus one column and decided that it was possible that a wing could smash through a column because of its larger area at the angle of attack.

Today I was thinking about this some more and realized I didn't properly take into account the materials involved.

Thus-- imagine a thin steel wire (e.g. from a paperclip) is an outer WTC column and a wing is represented by several folds of aluminum foil (go ahead and try it, just make sure the wire is anchored at top and bottom as if it were a load-bearing column in a building; if you think this is hilarious, please see my TROLL INOCULATION at the end of the post).

Even if the "wing" is a 80 times the cross-section of the steel wire (40 mm versus 0.5 mm), the aluminum is never going to cut through the steel of the wire (even if it is filled with jet fuel). The aluminum either crumples or shreds on the steel.

Thus, an aluminum wing might damage a steel column somewhat, but could it cut through it?

Once again, I can say: I don't think so!

Furthermore, I can say with good confidence that this:

and this:

are BOGUS-- the first fraud covered up homicide, the second fraud covered-up the first fraud.

TROLL INOCULATION--Yes, I know am: stupid, really stupid, incredibly stupid, stoopid, silly, very silly, inane, obtuse, senseless, dumb, dumber, dumberer, loony, loony-tunes, bananas, cuckoo, cuckoo bananas, lame, an escaped mental patient, insane, crazy, a traitor, an America-hater, a Bush-hating moonbat, unworthy of passing my genes to offspring, a moron, a loser, a wanker, mentally retarded, a retard, a fucktard, shit-for-brains, fucked up, an idiot, certainly mentally deficient and an all-around bad person for questioning whether muslims did 9/11.

there you go!
perhaps some HARDENED STEEL columns might break from the speed and mass of an ALUMINUM 767 but not only were they attached both above and below the alleged impact zone but they were fully supported by the horizontal STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE of the floors which were tied into and fully supported in turn by the EXTRA MASSIVE HARDENED STEEL COLUMNS of the core.

i believe that ANY penetration of a wtc by a REAL 767 would have been very unlikely.

Mythbusters Tackle 911
By Douglas Herman
1-27-7

Armed with a brand new batch of clever inventions and one eye-popping scale model, the intrepid team of Mythbusters decided to test a 911conspiracy theory, that the WTC towers collapsed by controlled demolition.

"We wanted to prove the conspiracy wackos wrong," said the intrepid duo, Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage. "And of course score some big bucks by blowing things up."

According to the New York Times, Mythbusters "may be the best science program on television." Throughout scores of entertaining episodes, the dynamic duo of Savage and Hyneman patiently construct scale models and then smash them, crush them, burn them or blow them up.

"Or blow them down," said Savage, cracking a grin. "All in the name of science."

So the dynamic duo also built an aluminum Boeing jet plane to scale.

the Mythbusters smacked the scale model Boeing exactly on the scale model WTC, almost forty feet up. Striking the tower at a speed of 500 MPH, the model airplane left a definite imprint. The tower shook visibly but remained standing. Seconds later the kerosene ignited. The tower burned brightly, almost exactly as the original WTC burned more than five years before.

"But then the jet fuel, basically kerosene, burnt away within 20-30 minutes. Although we had placed several tons of plastic objects, to simulate office furnishings, throughout the tower, we saw the tower start to smoke less than an hour after ignition."

From a gridwork of construction scaffolding, the pair filmed the tower burning for the first hour and then watched it smolder and smoke for a second hour. And then a third. And a fourth. Eight hours later, at sunset, the tower still stood, smoking like a chimney, but the fire only flickered inside.

The individual is handicapped coming face to face with
a conspiracy so monstrous, he cannot believe it exists.

"reno sword of tard"

Sweet! I wrote here a couple months back those guys should take on 9/11!

Thanks!

Hey, you got my hopes up for nothing. That piece was a fictionalization.

oh it was ficitional? sorry about that.
i didn't pay full attention to it
because:

1) i have seen the many videos of a fake ua175 impacting the wtc2 and realize that in reality an aluminum 767 can't penetrate a steel/concrete wtc.
2) i already know that both towers exploded and turned almost entirely to dust at the astounding
rate of 11 floors per second and that wtc7 was imploded in a classic controlled demolition in only 7 seconds, of which wtcleaseholder silverstein has already admitted.
3) edna cintron has told me repeatedly that jet fuel is not hot enough to melt steel and even if it was it did not do so.
4) it was posted at 911blogger.com/tard, a site that i rarely look at and don't pay attention to even when i do look at it.

so was the 911commission report and the NIST report.

duh.

You need a physics course and you may begin to understand energy.

Your teachers failed you. You are not nuts or a a nut case you just do not understand energy and materials.

You do not know they cut steel and other metals with water. Good luck, cause u r not nuts you are just research challenged.

yes they can cut steel with high-pressure water jets. i'd really like to see a REAL steel/concrete-cutting aluminum 767 with a plastic nosecone though - and at only 500mph too!

is it any wonder that you are anonymous?
