Camerawork Clues
Using a Sony Handycam, I tried taking some zoom-in shots of low-flying planes the other night.
A couple of observations:
1) if you have the camera zoomed OUT, it is difficult to see and thus find the plane in the viewfinder
2) if you have the camera zoomed IN, , it is difficult to simply find the plane in the viewfinder because you are focused in on one particular area
3) when you are zoomed IN and tracking the plane, it is VERY hard to keep the camera steady-- there is a lot of shaking that is amplified by the zoom factor
My strong sense from this small test is that ALL of the putative "amateur" 2nd hit shots seen here are not amateur at ALL, but very clever fakes done by professional videographers or an even more computerized advanced video technology.

I've tried the same thing myself and I agree with you completely. Good call!
Fred
and btw, your toes were exceptionally tasty this morning, Spooky! Thanks for trying that new foot wash. Sliding my tongue in between your toes after you used that new minty fresh wash was da bomb!
Good call!
Fred
ok i tried the same thing yesterday - i couldn't track the planes at all using my simple kodak digital camera w/screen viewer.
planes are travelling too fast and/or are too far away to even track adequately.
it is very similar to photagraphing a bird in flight.
bottom line:
unless one is a professional photographer using a professional set-up it is just not possible to capture a photo such as this.
this photo is proven to be bogus anyway - the angle of rake of the port (left) wing is improper.
^ha.
I'd like to second your comment, Fred!
bottom line:
Minty fresh toe wash makes sucking Spooky's toes a much more enjoyable experience - absolutely slurpalicious!
^ha
i am ^ha! and while i did comment @3:27 i did not comment @4:12.
so at last the pretend believers of the phony official 9/11 fairytale resort to impersonations!
is that all you got!?
^ha ^ha ^ha, ^ha.
Did you build your camera using chicken wire?
