Questioning the Whole Terrorism Construct
Given the vast sums of capital and human lives tied up with supposedly fighting terrorism in this country (and out of this country), is there a good reason why more poeple don't question the basic premise of an army of Islamic terrorists out to get us?
This is a bit seperate from what happened on 9/11. It's clear by what has transpired in the past 6 years that 9/11 was a freak attack, and that there is a paucity of nasty terrorists doing things in this country.
I can understand what motivates the politicians to not question the whole terrorism construct.
But what about the people?
What percentage of Americans questions the basis for the "war on terror"?
