Family Values!
This is seriously one of the most freaky things I've seen in politics:

To be sure, the most pressing issue about Sarah Palin is her actual allegiance to the USA, given her ties to the AK Independence Party. And the apparently criminal firings she was involved with. But for sheer theater, this is amazing stuff.
UPDATE: I am kind of wondering why Palin or her husband weren't carrying their infant with Down's syndrome, if they are going to get all family on us...

I guess I get it now-- they are acting like this punk who knocked up the daughter is her "husband" and part of the "family". But he should have married her by now if they were serious about this. It's just so brazenly wrong-- so trashy, so Jerry Springer. No class.
Why is there always somebody else other than palin holding her newborn?
Nobody touches my newborn other than my husband or myself.

Imagine the reaction if a democrat were to bring a pregnant unwed daughter onto the campaign trail.
Republican fingers would be pointed and the word 'shame' would be used repeatedly!
