Is There a Dumber Pundit Than WaPo's Richard Cohen?
This really is vomit-inducing:
Just to make one refuting point, an important bit of law-- non-citizens in the US are accorded US rights when they are in the US. Rights such as habeus corpus, due process, not being tortured, etc...
The sad thing is that Cohen is not alone-- most journalists and politicians apparently think the same way (if what they do can be called thinking). Of course, most journalists and politicians are probably intel pieces of shit, so you might as well take what these guys say as serious disinfo/propaganda.
There is almost nothing the Obama administration does regarding terrorism that makes me feel safer. Whether it is guaranteeing captured terrorists that they will not be waterboarded, reciting terrorists their rights, or the legally meandering and confusing rule that some terrorists will be tried in military tribunals and some in civilian courts, what is missing is a firm recognition that what comes first is not the message sent to America's critics but the message sent to Americans themselves. When, oh when, will this administration wake up?Read the whole thing to appreciate its fine sense of idiocy-- at your own risk. So is Cohen really this dumb? Or is he some sort of weird intel goon trying to spread disinfo/propaganda?
Bit by bit, circumstances are forcing President Obama and his aides to come to grips with reality.

"So is Cohen really this dumb?"
Hardly. He knows how to get ahead (his sicko version).
$54 billion for nuclear power (after long, hard push by lobbyists).
And the right-wingers don't like him??
