Obama, the other day:
"“Nobody is more committed to manned spaceflight, to human exploration of space, than me.
But we have got to do it in a smart way, we can’t just keep doing the same old things that we’ve been doing and thinking that somehow that’s going to get us to where we want to go."
IMO, he's acknowledging that faked
explorations may have served U.S.
propaganda and military industrial complex purposes in the past, but
he is committed to actual manned spaceflights, and that requires the kind of dedication and years of work that the Soviets did while
the U.S. engaged in expensive fakery.
there is no exhaust from any jets on that training lander thing. are we supposed to believe that it is propelled by compressed air from those little round tanks?
not to mention that even 1 pound of weight difference on one side or other would tip it over.
i think this is ridiculous.
