Ixtoc I Disaster
This underwater drilling oil spill disaster occurred 31 years ago and was quite similar to the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe. It occurred off the coast of Mexico, 600 miles from Texas, and so didn't affect the US as much as the current spill is. But, apparently the Ixtoc I event didn't destroy the planet or even kill off all life in the Gulf of Mexico. However, the ecological impact of this massive spill isn't clear -- and it's likely the local ocean was pretty well wiped out of life for some time.
Still, history is useful to put the recent disaster in perspective. I suppose the problem is that with so many things seemingly falling apart, it's easy to see the worst in these types of event... not that I am ruling out the worst, or that this couldn't have been a psy-op event.
Note, a 33 has appeared in an ugly new development related to the Deepwater Horizon story:
Also, this article is worthwhile in pointing how Obama administration corruption, following in the footsteps of Bush administration corruption, can be blamed to a large extent for the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

Note, a 33 has appeared in an ugly new development related to the Deepwater Horizon story:
NEW ORLEANS — Marine scientists have discovered a massive new plume of what they believe to be oil deep beneath the Gulf of Mexico, stretching 22 miles (35 kilometers) from the leaking wellhead northeast toward Mobile Bay, Alabama.
The discovery by researchers on the University of South Florida College of Marine Science's Weatherbird II vessel is the second significant undersea plume recorded since the Deepwater Horizon exploded on April 20.
The thick plume was detected just beneath the surface down to about 3,300 feet (1,000 meters), and is more than 6 miles (9.6 kilometers) wide, said David Hollander, associate professor of chemical oceanography at the school.

For the record, I would welcome the opportunity to point out and correct some of
the errors of fact and reasoning on display in the above posted article
titled:
"NYC Chief Medical Examiner Slipped Up! He Admitted WTC 9/11 Victims Were Vaporized! Wecht Brought in to Clean Up"
Since it would take a while to do so and would likely not be allowed
to remain in view but for only a few minutes, I won't take the time and energy to do so right now.
Hopefully, there will soon come a
more welcoming attitude towards
those whose views are sometimes seen as being in opposition to
this blog's OFFICIAL POSITION on
particular events in history.
This blog site exhibits all the hallmarks of an emerging neocon
site, complete with censorship, a resident phony scientist - or two,
and an active hostility for the truth.
