The horrific civil war in Syria rages on, with Aleppo in the midst of a humanitarian catastrophe.
Truly historic flooding from torrential rain in Louisiana, exacerbated by climate-change, is causing extensive damage and loss of life.
If we want to stop or slow climate change, we need a WWII-like massive mobilization effort to build renewable energy infrastructure.

We really do need to stop selling arms to fucking Saudi Arabia, who are waging a horrendous war in Yemen. (note the 33)
