Alex Jones Forced to Retract Pizzagate Claims and Apologize

Alex Jones, the conspiracy-loving media personality, apologized Friday for his role in promoting “Pizzagate,” the baseless viral story that a Washington pizza restaurant was the locale of a child sex-abuse ring run by Hillary Clinton and her campaign chairman, John Podesta.
In a surprising and rare bit of backtracking, Jones posted a six-minute video on his website, “InfoWars,” in which he read a prepared statement formally distancing himself and his site from what became a textbook story of fake news run amok. He addressed his apology to James Alefantis, the owner of Comet Ping Pong, the restaurant that was the supposed locale of the alleged conspiracy last year. “I made comments about Mr. Alefantis that in hindsight I regret, and for which I apologize to him,” Jones said. “We relied on third-party accounts of alleged activities and conduct at the restaurant. We also relied on accounts of [two] reporters who are no longer with us.” He added, “To my knowledge today, neither Mr. Alefantis nor his restaurant Comet Ping Pong, were involved in any human trafficking as was part of the theories about Pizzagate.”
The story, he said, “was based upon what we now believe was an incorrect narrative.” Jones, a staunch supporter of Donald Trump during the presidential campaign, offered no comment or apology to Clinton or Podesta for outlandish statements about their alleged involvement in the abuse of hundreds of children.
Jones didn’t say what prompted his apology but it may have been motivated by a letter Alefantis wrote to him in February. The letter demands an apology and retraction for InfoWars’ postings about Pizzagate; it does not threaten legal action, but refers to what Alefantis describes as “defaming” comments by InfoWars. But the timing of Jones’s apology suggests he was concerned about a potential lawsuit. Under Texas law, the Austin-based Jones had to retract or apologize for the stories by Friday — one full month after receiving Alefantis’s letter — to avoid exposing InfoWars to punitive damages in a libel suit.

It's good to see Jones facing up to some sort of reality, at least, even if it is only because he was going to get his ass sued.

This was never about partisan politics - it's about child abuse. Your dismissive view of the clouds surrounding Comet Ping Pong appears to be politically-motivated.

The first section of the book "Programmed to Kill" by Dave McGowan chronicles these scandals and, as Cynthia McKinney recently stated, a real investigation of pedophilia in D.C. would destroy both parties.

Trump, for example, maintained a close fifteen-year friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sexual offender with a well-organized trafficking network involving a private airplane ("the Lolita Express") and numerous properties, including an island. Epstein's infamous "little black book" Trump (no less than *14* numbers), Bill Clinton, Edward and Evelyn de Rothschild, Queen Elizabeth II, David Rockefeller, Prince Andrew, Duchess Sarah Ferguson, Edgar Bronfman, Henry Kissinger, Peter Soros (George's son), Viscount William Astor, Ted Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, John Kerry, Tony Blair, Jose Aznar, Richard Branson, Alan Dershowitz, Michael Bloomberg, Rupert Murdoch, Ed Koch, Ehud Barak, Kevin Spacey, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Courtney Love and many others.

An interesting (and underreported) fact is that one of the women who was procuring girls for Epstein, Nadia Marcinkova, received flight training at Lantana Airport. This is *also* where Mohamed Atta completed some of his training. The airport has long reportedly been used by both CIA and Mossad.

Trump also appointed figures like Rick Perry, who covered up rampant sexual abuse of teenagers in the prison system, as Secretary of Energy, and [9/11 suspect] Rudy Giuliani, who as U.S. Attorney sabotaged the multi-victim, multi-perpetrator satanic abuse scandal at West Point. Trump's mentor Roy Cohn was later reported to have "run the little boys" in U.S. intelligence-sponsored sexual blackmail operations.

The extreme physical and sexual abuse of children has always secretly been a part of ongoing MK-ULTRA operations.

It's interesting to note that the lawyers who sent out this wave of legal threats weren't retained by Alefantis but by Dr. Michael Maccoby, a world-renowned psychoanalyst who has functioned as a "consultant" to the the U.S. Army, the State Department and various unnamed "global corporations." He "has worked in 36 countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa."

At Harvard, he studied alongside men figures like Leo Strauss, McGeorge Bundy and leading light of "behavioural psychology," B.F. Skinner, who maintained contracts with the Defense Department.

The website of the Maccoby Group (linked above) goes onto say: "... he [Michael Maccoby] coaches leaders at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos [NPH], homes for orphaned and abandoned children, an orphanage in Mexico, Honduras, Haiti, Nicaragua, Guatemala, ElSalvador, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Peru. "

Would it surprise you to learn that this *world-renowned psychoanalyst* was the figure who stood up at a D.C. neighbourhood meeting in which the closing time of Comet was debated ( and threatened to "remove" any councilors who opposed Alefantis? (31:42)

Would it also surprise you to learn that Dr. Maccoby's son, Max, is Alefantis' lawyer and his daughters, Nora and Izette Foger Maccoby, are among his good friends?

Would it surprise you to learn that precisely the same orphanage that had furnished Laura Silsby children in Petitionville is *directed* by Max Maccoby, and is a part of the same network of orphanages (NPH) that Dr. Maccoby "coaches" (or programs) leaders for?

Or that NPH maintains "a secret task force" for "special operations headed by Mary Sue Conway, who was Abduction Chief for the Office of Children's Issues Abduction Unit before being appointed Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of State?

Or that Conway was *identified as a CIA agent* by Pakistani Intelligence?

Or that Nora Maccoby said her family's neighbourhood - where Comet Ping Pong is situated - is almost entirely comprised of CIA employees? (5:50)

The Central Intelligence Agency is the real power behind global human trafficking. While there is no smoking gun, there's *every indication* that something isn't right about Comet Ping Pong. Don't be fooled by the BBC and NYT into believing that pedophilia is a partisan issue.

I've seen too many otherwise-informed people apologize for Trump because they feel so disillusioned with the Democratic Party.

I've *also* seen otherwise-informed people who now adhere to the "party line" on issues like this simply because Trump purportedly does not.

He has made numerous statements about waging war on the trafficking networks but has made no real moves in this respect. He fired (without warning) a member of his transition team - son of his (former) national security advisor, no less - for tweeting about the issue.

The man who has maintained a close, fifteen-year relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and made repeated sexual comments about his teenage daughter isn't likely going to be a crusader against the well-heeled and well-organized trafficking networks spanning the planet.

And as far as "covert operations" go, don't get me started on the shooting at CPP.

You *must* find it a little strange that both the suspect and his father are actors and that the latter is a veteran police officer who has served on numerous city, state and federal task forces and who was one of fifteen broadcasters given special clearance by President Reagan to tour U.S. military bases.

And that the traffic cams were turned away within 24 hours of the attack. And that armed guards were hired within 48 hours.

And that one of the only shots fired reportedly hit "a computer tower."

"the shooting at CPP"-- Sorry, what is that?

As far as pdeophilia, I don't deny it occurs and is very prevalent. I just think the pizzagate claims were overblown and largely manufactured and dishonest. The worst kind of conspiracy thinking, IMO.

The shooting at Comet Ping Pong that was reportedly executed by another "lone nut," Edgar Maddison Welch on 12-4-16.

Check out the background of his father Harry Welch - a longtime police officer who has served on an array of city, state and federal task forces, who travels frequently, has extensive firearms and hand-to-hand combat skills and who was given a special clearance by Pres. Reagan to tour U.S. bases.

The traffic cams were also 'coincidentally' turned away from Comet within 24 hours of the attack.

The D.C. Police Department has refused a request FOIA request for the incident report and photos of the bullet holes and shell casings. The request was denied twice.

One or more of the aimless bullets reportedly hit damaged a computer tower or "computer equipment" - depending on which press report you read:

"His shots struck a locked closet door, which had computer equipment inside."

"The restaurant suffered at least $1,000 worth of damage to a door, door lock, computer tower, and barrier wall."

Could this have been a cover for the destruction of evidence? In any case, the attack - real or fictitious - served to forward the agenda to criminalize free speech:

"In a news briefing on Monday, Josh Earnest, the White House press secretary, said free speech rights pose a challenge for media platforms to prevent misinformation from leading to episodes like the gunman at Comet Ping Pong."

While I agree that there are no "smoking guns," I also think you're unaware of the entirety of the circumstantial evidence.

There are a wealth of connections that people have found through public records research and it seems highly unlikely Russian Intelligence was behind all of that. For example, the *same* judge (Anita Josey-Herring) who presided over the 2011 blackmail lawsuit by Alefantis & Brock against William Grey *also* initially presided over the trial of Edgar Maddison Welch. There is an approximately 1 in 55 chance of that happening.

What would you say if I told you the *same* judge issued an arrest warrant against Danielle Best, an 11-year-old girl for making "false rape" charges despite *medical* evidence?

Or that Pete Newsham, who helped suppress Best's rape allegations, is among Alefantis' supporters?

The creepy atmosphere and photos take on a new light when viewed in the context of an MK-ULTRA operation similar to things described by people like O'Brien, Taylor and Sullivan - typically (and unfairly in my view) dismissed as liars or nuts because of the enormity of their accusations.

There are many places like CPP. Look at "Room 322" of Hotel Zaza:

Look at the backlash against Ben Swann, who has made numerous harsh criticisms of Trump in the past, for simply presenting the evidence in a *neutral* way. Would this really be necessary if there is nothing to any of these allegations?

They're trying so hard to politicize this issue when Trump hasn't even addressed it and actually fired one of his transition members for discussing it.

Most of the research that has been done on Voat is pretty verifiable and largely unreported by the media, who by repeatedly discussing only a few points are largely misrepresenting the issue.

I think pedophilia is one of the primary mechanisms of the 'deep state.'

Part of why "no one talks" is because of systemic, institutionalized blackmail. Part of why they have a limitless number of "manchurian candidates" is because of trauma-based mind control programs.
