Alex Jones, the Snake Oil Salesman
John Oliver does a brilliant job of exposing Alex Jones not so much as a crazy conspiracy theorist, but a crackpot peddler of all kinds of over-priced personal care and nutrition items. But by inference, it casts doubt on everything else Jones says, much like a televangelist spouting nonsense to make money.

AN INCONVENIENT SCAM ARTIST
2006: Al Gore says we'll die if we don't cut
fossil fuel use. then we find that his home
uses 20 times more power than a typical
US home. he swears to change.
2017: Al keeps his promise to change.
his mansion now uses 34 times more
electricity than the average US home.
first of all, what is the source? Second, so what? third, Al Gore is a rich man, and has a big house and maybe has a good reason for using so much more electricity. Fourth, what is the relevance to the post here?
