9/11 Truth Starting to Push into the Mainstream, More and More

Anderson Cooper apparently did a segment on Jimmy Walter, the millionaire financing 9/11 truth ads.

The most interesting part is Cooper has a little poll on his web page. As of 11 pm EST:

Do you believe there is a U.S. government cover-up surrounding 9/11?

Yes 82% 2189 votes
No 18% 472 votes
Total: 2661 votes

Granted, this may be a very self-selecting poll, because I got tipped off to it by an e-mail from 9/11 Truth.org, but even assuming half of the respondents are from 9/11 truth, that still leaves something like 60% of people believing the USG is covering up 9/11.

So how can so many people believe this and yet Bush was re-elected? (It's a rhetorical question.)
