About That Election

Yep-- I still think there's a good chance it was stolen by Bush. I think so for three reasons:

1) the exit polls that showed Kerry winning that the pollsters and the media are being so secretive about. Was their data and analysis wrong or not? If it was wrong, how was it wrong?

2) the fact that the Republican-owned voting machines counted something like 80% of the votes cast in the election-- a large percentage of these votes were without any paper trail and thus no way to audit the vote.

3) I still don't see how in an election with 19 million voters that didn't vote in 2000 that Bush got 11 million more votes than he did in 2000. The new voters almost certainly broke more for Kerry (let's be very conservative and say Kerry got 10 million of these and Bush got 9 million), meaning Bush had to get a very significant percentage of the 2000 voters (something like 52 million of the 101 million voters from 2000) to get his 3 million vote edge over Kerry. But Bush only got about 50 million votes in 2000. Is it really plausible that Bush got ALL his old voters plus 2 million Gore voters? I think not-- especially considering we know there were many Republicans who didn't vote for Bush in 2004.

Thus, I think it is incumbent upon the Republicans and the media to show that Bush REALLY WON FAIR AND SQUARE. The Repubs obviously cheated-- the big question is if they cheated enough to take a Bush loss to a Bush win.

I suspect they did, but unfortunately there is no proof-- just a lot of anecdotal information. There are very many stories that point the way to fraud-- but no one has yet nailed the whole story down. In large part this is because the FUCKING LAMEASS mainstream media won't dare touch this issue in a serious way.
