WTC7 and James Zadroga

Zadroga was inside Building 7 at the World Trade Center when it began to collapse on the afternoon of Sept. 11, 2001. After narrowly escaping death, he spent nearly 500 hours over the next month and a half at the site, searching for victims amid tons of debris and dirt...

I sure would like to know more details about this--- how was he able to escape the tower if the "collapse" started from the bottom-- as is apparent in the videos?

Of course, we won't be able to hear anything else from Zadroga, as he died from a 9/11-related sickness-- though disgustingly New York City's medical examiner Charles Hirsch claimed that Zadroga died from misusing drugs.

Unfortunately, Zadroga wasn't part of the NYFD Oral History project.
